Chapter 6: The Dark Knights

The group got out of the cave and made it to the ends of the town. The sky was now a yellow color signaling the darkness was about to come. Shelby, JoJo, Zeppeli, and Speedwagon looked at some farmers on the fields doing their jobs. JoJo started to talk about how the farmers are alright, but Dio was in the shadows somewhere about to make his move.

JoJo then gasped seeing Speedwagon on the ground in pain. Shelby tried to hold in her laugh seeing Speedwagon. "I must have been too rough with him. I was only supposed to hit him a little. For him to generate Hamon. I'm so sorry, Speedwagon."

Shelby helped up Speedwagon and laughed more. "You will be okay! You got this!" Speedwagon smiled a bit at Shelby as she helped him up. Just as she helped him, a boy shot himself at the group and grabbed Speedwagon's bag. Then he splashed into the water, and she started to swim to shore. Speedwagon gasped.

"Rather spry for a young bag snatcher, eh?" JoJo said while smiling and looking at the boy. Zeppeli nodded in approval.

"Don't just stand there! He's making his way with all the money we have!" Speedwagon tried to be the level headed one. Shelby's eyes widened.

"That's ALL the money we have!? Oh hell no." Shelby quickly started to walk on the water with her Hamon on the bottom of her feet. "Listen here!! I know your mind is controlled, but get your ass back here!" Zeppeli, JoJo and Speedwagon were shocked to see her walking on the water, well, awkwardly.

Zeppeli and JoJo followed suit and they walked on the water too. "Might I say Shelby. You are doing excellent!" Zeppeli commented. Shelby blushed embarrassed.

"We-Well, it's all in the breathing??" Shelby laughed a bit.

As the three got to the otherside. The Boy was already climbing the wall. Shelby hummed, knowing what was about to happen.

JoJo hit the side of the wall with his Hamon and the wall shook. Zeepeli told him to try again and he did. JoJo got to the right spot and the boy fell into JoJo's arms. (Lucky-)

"Nice catch." Zeppeli said to JoJo.

"Huh?? What happened? What's going on?" The boy said, confused.

"Mind control." Shelby waved her arms making them move like waves. The boy looked at her as if she was crazy.

Zeppeli frowned. "Eyes open. Look around." The sky immediately got dark and Shelby stopped doing her little dance.

"NO.. He's here- Oh lordly no. Not the fucking zombies. I swear-" Shelby's leg then got grabbed by a zombie hand coming out of the ground. She then screamed and kicked the hand away with Hamon, as if kicking a soccer ball.

"Mr. Joestar!! Above you!!" Speedwagon yelled while pointing to Dio on top of a high rock. Everyone looked up and saw Dio.

"The sun has set. Time for your lives to disappear with it!" Dio looked down at everyone sinisterly.

Shelby rolled her eyes. "You BITCH. I can't believe this! I mean I can because I knew this was going to happen, BUT still! You're done for now that I have Hamon! The power of the FUCKING sun!!" Shelby laughed, she was scared out of her mind. Just because of the zombies. Dio looked at her intrigued.

The boy screamed and Speedwagon started to go off about how scared he was. Shelby looked at him. "Nah, I would be scared too if I was in your situation. You don't have Hamon like we do- Ope. Don't worry, I got you." Shelby smiled a bit.

"He thinks of us as easy prey because it's nighttime." Zeppeli said and he gasped as the zombies went after them. Shelby screamed, hating the zombies.

"No, no, no!! Not like this!" Shelby hit some zombies with her Hamon. Killing them. She made sure to stay by Speedwagon while they were attacking them.

"JoJo, this way!" Zeppeli yelled to him and he started to make their way to Dio.

"You guys got this. Teamwork!" Shelby laughed a bit. "Watch out for frozen arms!" Speedwagon looked confused at her.

"This isn't the right time, Shelby! Be serious" Speedwagon said. Shelby frowned at him.

"I am! AH!!" Shelby kicked another zombie away from Speedwagon. She realized the zombies were not even going after her, only Speedwagon. It didn't make sense. It looked like they didn't even care about her. Shelby then looked up seeing JoJo and Zeppeli had already made it to the top, where Dio was.

Zeppeli then started to attack Dio. Then Dio froze Zeppeli's arm. Shelby gasped seeing everything happen. "I told you to watch out for the freezing arm!! AH!!" Shelby yelled frustrated.

Dio looked at her and went back to Zeppeli. He acknowledged that Shelby knew about his ability before he could show it. Shelby got the last zombie and she said tired.

"Fucking hell." Shelby tried to catch her breath.

"T-Thank you, Shelb." Speedwagon blushed at her. Shelby smiled and blushed a bit at the nickname.

"Hey, it's nothing, Speedy. I'm just breathing is all." Shelby giggled and she looked back up to JoJo, Dio, and Zeppeli. Dio then pushed them off him. They all came flying to the ground. Speedwagon caught Poco, JoJo landed gracefully, while Zeppeli crashed onto Speedwagon and Shelby.

"My hand is as cold as ice!" JoJo said while looking at his hand.

"Speedwagon frowned concerned while looking at Zeppeli's arm. "His arm is really bad too! Without circulation the arm will rot!"

"Damn, I'm no doctor, but I think we should get that treated." Shelby smiled, concerned.

Dio then started to chuckle. "My Dear. Why do you worry about those insects? Come join me and we can rule together! They can't protect you, but I can." Shelby looked to Dio as if he was joking.

"Oh nah. I can protect myself! I just took down like 15 zombies and your ass is next!" Shelby yelled at him. Dio sighed at her stubbornness. He found it charming in a way.

"I guess it can't be helped." He said and the ground started to shake. "Tarukus! Dark Knight Bruford! Arise and fight at my command!" Dio started to summon the Dark Knights from the ground below. Just then a giant rock separated JoJo and Shelby from the group of three below them. Shelby then gasped, almost falling.

"Shit, no! I hate heights!" Shelby tried not to fall. Then the Knights showed themselves from beneath the rock JoJo and Shelby were on.

"I order you to destroy them. I don't care how. Just do it, but.. If you dare harm my future wife. I will make sure you will never wish you did." Dio said to his Dark Knights, and he smirked. "So, bring her to ME."

Shelby's eyes widened. "Wait-" The rock then broke and Bruford then grabbed Shelby with his hair and tightly held her in place. "AH! Let me go, you Aizawa looking ass! I will cut your hair with Hamon!! But first give me your hair treatment because DAMN. L'Oreal Paris because you're worth it!" Shelby laughed. Bruford was interested in this human.

"You say such interesting words." Bruford then started to make his way to Dio. Shelby then tried to get out of his hair.

"Ahh! No! I was just kidding! I'm sorry!" Shelby pleaded, she did NOT want to go to Dio.

"Shelby!!" JoJo yelled. He was about to follow them, but Tarukus stopped him right in his tracks. As Bruford brought Shelby to Dio he quickly gave her to him, and Bruford quickly made his way down to JoJo.

Shelby struggled against Dio's harsh grip. "Let me go!" Shelby yelled at him. She was beyond scared, she didn't want to be turned into a vampire or a zombie.

"My, my, my Dear. You're not in the right headspace right now. You need to rest." Dio said the last part darkly, but before Shelby could use Hamon against him. Dio hit his hand right at her neck knocking her out, but before she passed out the last words she could hear was her name being called out.

"Zeppeli... I'm sorry..." Shelby muttered then passed out.
