Chapter 4

Colin opened his eyes sleepily, not even bothering to look at the contact name. " shut that thing up" he mumbled
"Colin" I said worriedly, "it's hunter"
He sat up bolt upright . "Don't answer it" he said " he could track you down. So I didn't. The annoying thing was that he kept calling. Kept calling. KEPT CALLING. so I put my phone on silent and went back to sleep.

I eventually woke up when the window was blaring its full sunlight on me. I could hear the pitter-pattering of the water as Colin took a shower. Two minutes later he came out with a casual black shirt and denim jeans."uuhhh...what time is it?"i asked
"1:30pm" he replied. I was late . Turned out that he even went shopping without me! He bought me a black top JUST like his and skinny denim jeans. " What do you want us to look like, Oompa Loompas?" I asked he chuckled and replied " no, Tara bought these, she thinks we would look cute." I wore them and , surprisingly, we did look cute. Suddenly, Tara burst into the room. " I want to give you a MAKEOVER!" She squeeled. I was pretty shocked at first but her fac made me want to say yes. So I did. Turned out, this miniature diva knows tons more about balancing colors than me. She was babbling the whole time about making my face look fresh with a nice dab of powder pink blush and bla bla bla...stuff I didn't care about. I took of my glasses and wore the contacts that I usually keep in my backpack. I actually looked...pretty! Colin saw me gawking at myself in the mirror so he asked me if I wanted to go to the mall. Tara heard and stamped her foot " no fair!" She wailed " the mall is my FAVORITE place!"

We went in a taxi and eventually, we got to a small store inside. We were just scouring the racks when Colin took out a light blue dark blue combination mini strapless dress. " This " he said "suits you. Try it on" he was right, blue does suit my brown hair. I tried it on and as soon as I came out of the changing room, he did a little applause. " I am SO buying this!" He exclaimed. He did and I apologized a million times for using his money. The dress was pretty expensive. He insisted on wearing them all around the mall. This boy can be very stubborn. While we were walking around the mall, he put his arm around me. I loved that. He decided to take dinner back for the family from McDonald's so his dad didn't have to cook.

Me, Tara,and Sammy ate in silence as Colin went to have a talk with his dad.a few minutes later,his dad came with a concerned expression on his face."nicole," he said " Colin has told me everything, you are welcome to stay here as long as you want." I suddenly burst into tears and kept whimpering " thank you so Much! I have never met anyone so NICE!" I really love Colin and his dad
