Haruto spent the rest of the evening lost in thought. He couldn't stop thinking about Zihao and the way his heart had skipped a beat when their eyes met. He knew he was developing feelings for Zihao, but he didn't know what to do about them.

Over the next few weeks, Haruto found himself thinking about Zihao more and more. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was a connection between them, something deeper than just a chance encounter at a café. He began to daydream about what it would be like to date Zihao, to hold hands and kiss and go on adventures together.

But every time he thought about asking Zihao out, he remembered that Hiroto had a crush on him too. Haruto didn't want to hurt his friend, but he couldn't ignore his own feelings either. He felt stuck, trapped between his loyalty to Hiroto and his own desires.

One day, Haruto decided to confide in his older brother, Keita, who had always been a source of guidance and wisdom for him. He visited Keita's apartment and told about his dilemma and how he didn't know what to do.

His brother listened patiently and then said, "Haruto, it's important to be honest with yourself and with others. You can't control who you fall in love with, but you can control how you handle it. Have you talked to Hiroto about your feelings?"

Haruto shook his head. "I don't want to hurt him. He likes Zihao too."

His brother smiled. "Haruto, it's better to be honest than to keep your feelings bottled up. Also, maybe Hiroto likes Zihao but from what you tell me I am not really sure if his feelings are reciprocated."

Haruto took his brother's words to heart and decided to talk to Hiroto. They met up the next day in the class, and Haruto took a deep breath.

"Hiroto, I need to talk to you about something. I know that you like Zihao, but I have to be honest with you. I have feelings for him too."

Hiroto's face fell, and Haruto braced himself for the worst.

But then Hiroto surprised him. "Haruto, I had a feeling that you might feel that way. And honestly, I'm glad you told me. I don't want to come between you and your happiness. If Zihao likes you too, then I'll step back and support you."

Haruto was taken aback. "Really? You're not mad?"

Hiroto shook his head. "No, I'm not. I just want you to be happy. And if that means I have to let go of my own feelings, then so be it."

Haruto felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. He was grateful to have a friend like Hiroto, who cared about his happiness above his own. And he was excited to see where his feelings for Zihao would take him. Maybe there was a chance for them after all.
