Chapter Nine

*Eren's POV*

Home. I was back home, snuggled up in my blanket. I watched my mum and Mikasa do the laundry and my dad reading the paper. My family, as one.

"Eren" I could hear someone call me name. I turn my head to see the captain of the Survey corpse standing there. What was he doing there?

"Eren you need to come back to us" He says.

"Come back to who? I'm back with my family, that's all I need."

"I don't know what's going on in there but you need to come back to us." He states.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I shrug.

"You need to snap out of it"

"And you need to leave!" I snap at him.

"Eren! Please come back!" He yells at me. I start to get a headache causing everything I see to blur. What the hell is going on?

"Come back" everything goes white before coming back to focus. I see the village we were supposed to be saving come into sight. Colours seemed more faded than usual and it finally hit me. I was inside my titan self.

"Eren you need to block that hole, I'll take care of Levi" Petra lands next to me before swinging over to the bell tower. I look over to see Levi lying there. Oh god.

"Go now!" She yells at me. I back away stomping over to the boulder. My hands grip onto either side before I start pulling. It won't budge. I try again and again. I turn to the top of a building where Petra took Levi so he was off the ground. My eyes turn to see a titan getting close to him and Petra. I growl before running over there and grabbing a hold of the titan. I bite into the back of its neck tearing a chunk of skin. I spit it out staring at its body fall to the ground. Levi was still lying there while Petra tried her hardest to get him awake. I go back to the boulder with anger inside of me. I go to lift the boulder and somehow I managed to do it. I lift it above my head as I let out an extremely loud scream which came out like more of a roar. I stumble to the hole with the boulder on my back. I could feel the weight of it slowing crushing me. I arrive at the hole seeing more titans coming towards the village. With all my might I throw the boulder into the hole blocking it up. I let out another roar but this time it was louder and it showed my accomplishment. My head turns to where Petra and Levi were before running to them which only was a few steps. I stare down at him before sliding my left hand under him. I bring him up to my face to get a better look. His eyes were just closed, his face just a blunt look. My right hands raises and I poke his face with my huge finger. Everything was quiet and I could see Petra staring at me confused. I put him back on the roof before standing back. I've got to get out of this body! I start to strain and my mental state starts to pull me away from this body. Blackness surrounds me and I could feel my titan self-fall. Ugh! I groan and my head starts to hurt. Next thing I knew, fresh air surrounds me. I flicker my eyes open and it took me a moment to notice where I was. I fall off the back of the titan and slide onto the ground. As I stand I feel my head spin which causes my walking to go off. I shake it off before yelling out to Petra.

"I need you to come here" I say. She does as I say before helping me up to where Levi is. I kneel in front of him placing my hands on his cheeks. They were cold.

"Levi?" I whisper feeling my bottom lip shake. I place my head against his chest where I ever so lightly hear his heart beat.

"Did I do this to you?" I mumble rubbing my thumb over his cheek.

"I'm sorry I ignored you, I'm sorry I got mad at you. I'm sorry for everything. I'm even sorry for hurting you when I was in my titan form. I didn't even know what I was doing" I gulp. He was breathing softly which was a good sign I suppose. Erwin comes up behind me with another three dimensional gear for me. I strap myself to the gear before grabbing Levi. I move quickly to the wall and then to my horse trying not to move Levi too much. He was still unconscious but still breathing. We make it back to the base and I take him to his room. Moments later Petra comes in before speaking up.
