Chapter Eight

"Captain you have to get up, we must be going" I hear a soft voice say to me. I open my eyes to see Petra sitting on my bed.

"How did you get in?" I mumble.

"Your door was left open" She explains. I roll my eyes before sitting up.

"We must be going, all the other soldiers are ready all but you" She states.

"Read for what?" I ask.

"For the mission. We're fixing the hole in the wall remember." Petra informs me.

"Oh yeah..." I whisper putting my boots on. I've been dreading this day for ages. And yet, it's finally here.

"Everyone is waiting outside" Petra adds on. I sigh deeply finishing myself up and walking out with Petra beside me. I walk over to my horse hoping on. Eren was diagonally behind me and kept his gaze in front of him. It hurt to have him act this way around me. To pretend I was no one to him. But, like I always do, I go on as nothing is bothering me.

"Just to be clear, all of you need to kill off any titans in Eren's way. He must not be stopped by anything. If he is stopped that hole will not be fixed. Got that?" I announce to everyone. I could see those two friends of Eren's in the crowd of man and horses. I can't remember their names and honestly that didn't faze me by the slightest. I turn my horse to the direction I wanted to go before taking off. Eren stayed close behind me but his face was still plain. It showed no emotion. I would have thought he would be at least the slightest bit worried but by the looks of his facial appearance, he was feeling nothing. We arrive at the wall where we all use our three dimensional gear to get to the top.

"Group A go to the South side, B to the West, C to the East. The rest of us will stay on the North wing. Go now!" I yell the last part. It soon narrows down to just me, Petra, Eren, Erwin, Sasha, and his two little dumb friends.

"We are going to make sure nothing touches Eren while he is trying to move that boulder and move it to the hole." I instruct. I turn to Eren and he stares at me without a word.

"You must turn now" I state. His eyes flicker to the open, titan infested village. I watch him swing off the wall and down to the ground. A sudden black smoke appears showing he did not hesitate to turn. My eyes land on a giant titan in front of me. His head turns to look at us, but soon walking off with no interest. A shattering loud roar escapes his mouth. I cringe slightly watching him walk off. His head turns to some titan walking past him. He suddenly grabs the other, smaller titan and rips the back of its neck off. He kicks the body away and what seems like growling rings from his mouth.

"Spread out" I yell swinging out to where Eren was. His fists raising be slamming into a surrounding building. I have to stop myself from getting any closer.

"Eren!" I yell at him causing him to turn to me.

"You need to move the boulder!" I point to the boulder implanted within the small hill. His arm swings around trying to wipe me out but I dodge it sufficiently. What the hell? His titan body walks away from me and the boulder. I sing around in front of him slightly angry and also nervous.

"Eren!" I shout but he ignores me.

"Jaeger!" I try again. What the hell is he doing?! I stand on a roof of a building look around for Sasha.

"Sasha! What the hell?!" I yell at her as she stands there shrugging.

"He didn't get enough time to train his mental self" She states.

"Who knows, that might not even be Eren anymore!" She adds on. I clench my fists both out of anger and sadness.

"Eren! You need to focus!" I yell at his titan self.

"Levi, you need to make sure he starts to show signs of consciousness otherwise there is chance something might go on and he could possibly die" Sasha swings past me giving the most horrid news I have ever had to hear.

"Eren listen to me! You need to come back to me baby!" I shout to him accidentally saying baby. But honestly, I don't care what anyone thought at the moment. Maybe one word being baby could help him. I'll do whatever it takes to get him back to reality.

"Eren, don't you recognise me?" My eyebrows furrow in.

"Eren!" I yell and finally I get a response. His hand grabs me, squeezing me tight. His large tighten eyes glare into me.

"Captain!" Someone yells.

"Eren you need to come back to us. I know you're in there somewhere!" I try to get from his bone crushing grip. To make things worse, his grip tightens even more. It looked as if he was going to eat me. I started to freak but I tried not to show it.

"Ah" I hiss as I try to breath. I felt as if my bones were crushing into one another. Air was becoming harder and harder for me to breathe. My head starts to feel light and dizzy.

"Eren, baby let me go" I try to say but finding it difficult to.

"Eren" I whisper but I feel him suddenly throw me, causing me to hit the clock tower with such force.
