Mom

Thor!, Thyri!" I yell up the stairs, I was informed that today mom wanted the kids to come to work with me today. "Mama!" Thyri yells, "what baby?" I ask walking up the stairs, I walk into their room, "too big!" She whines, "Thats how their supposed to be hun" I laugh at her, "Grandma bought them that way" I tell her "oh..., Why?" She asks, "ask her when we get their" I say, she nods.

"Hey ma, we're on our way, Thyri was confused as to why her pants were a size too big, she's gonna ask you why just so you know" I smile, I know moms smiling over the phone too, "Awesome sauce" she jokes.

(Flashback)

Everything is crumbling around her, Emma-Lee's mom shipped her away for college. "Italy?!, Really mom?" She yells, "Emma-Lee, it's for your own good" Erin kisses her head and pushes her towards the plane.
"Plane ticket please?" The flight attendant says, he had a thick Italian accent, "uhh, this in my bag" she sets her bag on the floor by her feet, a guy grabs it and runs. "Shit" she starts chasing him, he was just a little boy, about 7 years old, she found him eating her chocolate bar, "Hey little guy, can I have my stuff back?"

The 7 year old tries to run, luckily the guards take him to find his parents, Emma-Lee grabs her stiff and assumes her plane left until she see's the flight attendant smiles at her, "The plane waited?" She asks, "Took some convincing, but yeah" the flight attendant says, Emma-Lee returns his smile. "Your rows all booked, follow me, I know a place" he says, she just laughs, "as long as I say your my girlfriend their leave you alone" he whispers. We sit down in first class, "Excuse me, Oliver, who's that?" A male asks, "This is my girlfriend" He says, "Emma-Lee" I put my hand out, "Tali, good to meet you, can I get you a hot towelette?" He asks, "No thank you" she smiles, "can I get you a snack baby?" Oliver asks, "yes please, remember, no peanuts!" She smiles "I remember love" he says in an Italian accent.

When she landed Oliver went with my, Tali's request to the captain, he helped me bring !y stuff to my college dorm. "Thank you" I say, "No problem baby girl" he says teasingly, I blushed a little, "Oliver, when are you leaving?" She asks, "Probably in a week" he says, "Then let's pretend you are my boyfriend" she whispers leaning in.
"Are you sure, I'm a little dangerous when it comes to 'bed time' love" he says, she chuckles.
You can imagine what happens next.

(6 weeks later)

"O-oliver" Emma-Lee says on the phone, "yes love?" He asks, worry coating his voice, "I-i'm pregnant" she says, "That's wonderful!, The planes landing in Italy in 3 hours, can I come over?" He asks. "Yes, but please don't be mad... It's twins" Emma-Lee was so worried about what he would think, she didn't think about her mom. "I-i've got to call my mom" she says, "wait for me love, just in case" Oliver says, Emma-Lee nods, then remembers he can't see her "ok.." she hangs up after they say bye.

After he got there and they called Erin, the conversation went something like this:
"I'm pregnant"

"Are you dumb?!"

"I wanted this to go different" she sobs.

"I'm sorry, you know the dad, right?"

"Yeah, he's a flight attendant"

"Good pay" she whispers

End of conversation

(End of flashback)

As we walk into the building I remember their daddy, my beautiful kids, Thor and Thyri, I still remember his beautiful chocolate skin, his brown orbs glaring at my hazel ones.
...

"Gandma!" Thyri yells, "Thyri inside voices please" I say she nods, "why my pants bigger than me?" Thyri asks, "Just so you can grow into them" mom says, Thyri makes an 'O' shape with their mouth, "Wanna go meet everyone?" I ask my kids, "yeah!" Thor says.
