“there is life, adventure. and discover beyond this planet. But I am not sure if people are ready to accept those challenges that lie ahead.”

    The day before...

    ..Jean and Austin..

Austin found his wife Jean at a coffee shop.  She’s still mad over what he had done seventeen years ago? Man. Women hold grudges longer than we men! He came over to his wife jean with a new shirt on. “Shelllyyy, you can’t hold grudges for eternity.” He told   her.

Jean’s eyes  flipped over to become daggers, matter of speaking.

“I can too.”

“Cannot.”

“Can.”

Austin begrudgingly sighed.

“Jean...You heard him. He’s different. he’s not that kind of person anymore.” Austin told her, nervously waving at a few people who heard their conversation. “I fell in love with a woman who I saw to be kind and very forgiving. What’s happened to you Jean?”

“Life.”

“Life doesn’t make a dramatic change in who you are.”

Jean is acting very stubborn. she folded her arms on top of another. “You never took psychology class.” She  noted, referring to KOWA college they had met in the first place. The college where it all started in 2009.

“OOOOooh.” The other people say.

“Don’t act as middle school kids.” Austin quickly told them.He rolled his eyes. “Does not take one to observe the body language of the other person. Jean.Whatever happened back then isn’t happening right now again. It’s time you let go of the suitcase.”

jean didn’t respond,

Austin pintched his forehead.

“Does this have to do with Lara Catch?” He finally asked. “Have you been talking to that little slimey bull head lier?”

Jean gasped, startled at Austin’s question that sounded more entitled in anger and frustration. It sounded to be that he hated Laratch for some  particular reason. I never heard him speak like this before. Things behind the curtain are often forgotten and not mentioned ever again.

“Um...” She begins.

A person fanning off steam from her coffee, said, “By her speech, I can  say that’s a yes.”

Austin stared at Jean with a very long jaw dropped expression seen all over him. if he had been in a cartoon it would fallen to the floor. “..Jean. You should not listen to your own enemy.I can tell you she ripped my whole family apart by her deceivery. I’ve not spoken to my uncles for years since then!”

“...I thought you were...you..” Jean is totally flabbergausted and confused. “Jh-h-h...This is...confusing. I saw you were so happy together..” She groaned. “Don’t tell me you wanted nobody to know your girlfriend made impossible personal damage!”

“Frankly. Yes.”

The other people who were there, started laughing. Austin ordered a black coffee with some sugar in it and the coffee must be in a small cup. Not a big sized. He kinda had an accident using a big sized cup with coffee in it.

“Forgive him, Shelly.” Austin told her, his face full in care and worry towards his wife. “He’s changed. I saw it through his eyes. Why would he have called us in the first place? A bad guy as he been before wouldn’t done  foolish thing to call us there!” He has this determined face on him.

The Coffee maker looks at the two.

“Who’s he?” The Coffee maker asks.

Jean shifted her shoulders.

“You know the man who attacked people back in 2009..As a guy being light gray….Well he’s back.” Jean said, rubbing her shoulder. She did not appear to be liking what she is about to say. “And he’s changed. He’…”

 “The Metal Man?”

“No, he’s The Steel Man.” Austin corrected one of the bystanders. He shrugged. “Go figure. I found one of his left over metal and inspected it to find it is Steel. Also…I heard he’s from a highly evolved society able to travel from space and time.”

Jean laughs.

The other people were stunned.

“I’ve forgiven The Steel Man for what he had done.” She blurted out loud. Her eyes relaxed in comfort. Her chest  became comfortable no longer clouded in unnecessary feelings.Something dropped from her hand. Something she hadn’t held in the first place until she had said those fatal words. It’s an apple. A bitten chocolate apple.

“MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

Austin saw the apple. Where did the apple come from? He gazed at it. Startled from a  sudden object which had appeared rom out of no where. “Did I forget to mention he mentioned something about a Witch?” Austin asked her.

Jean zipped away. Something Is very much wrong. And it’s close to home.
