Prologue

Y/N's POV

New York City... Queens... this is my home. It's been a year since Norman Osborn terrorized the city as the Green Goblin. And I've been living my best life since. I am currently dating my good friend, MJ. I'm about to become a college student, and I heard that me and Gwen have a class together there. And Aunt May is a lot better than before. Only problem that I have with Harry. Not with me as Y/N, but me as Spider-Man. He still hasn't been the same since his father got arrested for his crimes as Green Goblin, and he's still hellbent on getting revenge.

I hear my alarm go off. I reach to turn it off. I get out of bed and get ready for the day. I do my morning routine. I decide to go take a walk around New York. As I'm walking, my spider-sense tingles. I see someone trying to rob a store.

Robber: Put the money in there! Now!!!

I smile and grab my bag. I go into an alleyway and find my suit. I put it on and sneak into the store, as the clerk is grabbing all the money. I causally walk towards the robber and lean on one of the walls.

Spider-Man: You know, it's kinda bad what you're doing right now, your parents ever teach you stealing is wrong?

The robber jumps and aims his gun at me. I playfully put my hands up.

Spider-Man: Woah! It's also dangerous to point a loaded weapon at someone.

I quickly shoot a web at the gun and pull it out of the grip of the robber.

Spider-Man: Awww... not so tough without your little toy now?

The robber was now getting angry, he tries charging at me, but I punch him in the face, knocking him out.

Clerk: Woah! You're Spider-Man!

Spider-Man: Yep! Hello!

I hear a woman screaming.

Woman: Someone help! He's trying to take my bag!

I run out the store and see a man running away with a woman's bag. I swing around the building where I can get in front of him. I hang upside down and lower myself so the man can see me.

Spider-Man: Hey, how's it going?

The man gets scared and runs another way.

Spider-Man: Wow, you're just gonna ignore me?

I shoot webs at his legs, I then pull them to sweep him off his feet. I land on the ground and grab the bag.

Spider-Man: Here you go!

Woman: Thank you, Spider-Man!

I salute and swing away.

Timeskip

To get more money, I decided to take some shots of myself with my camera. I am now at the Daily Bugle.

Jonah: More pictures! We can get a paper going. How about "Spider-Man: planning on terrorizing the city?"

Y/N: You still see him as a menace? Even after he took in the Green Goblin?

Jonah: He has you fooled! He has everyone fooled!

Timeskip

I leave the Daily Bugle. I spot a familiar face.

Y/N: MJ?

MJ: Y/N?

We hug.

Y/N: What's up?

MJ: Just walking home, you?

Y/N: Just walking around. You want a faster way home?

MJ smiles, she must know what I mean by faster way home.

MJ: Let's do it!

I lead her to an empty alleyway.

Timeskip

MJ: OH MY GOD!!!!!

I am in my suit and I'm swinging her home. We land in another alleyway near her house.

Spider-Man: So?

MJ: It was fun, I'm just never fully ready for the views...

I laugh.

Spider-Man: Goodbye MJ.

I shoot a web at the building next to us, I start to leap in the air.

MJ: Wait!

I stop myself, I hang upside down looking at her.

Spider-Man: Yeah?

MJ: One more thing before you go.

She walks up to me and pulls my mask halfway down so my bottom half of my face is showing. She kisses me, I kiss her back. She then pulls apart from me.

Spider-Man: Love you!

MJ: Love you more!

I then fully swing away.

Timeskip

It's evening, I am sitting on a random building eating a burger with my mask off. I then feel my phone buzzing. I am getting a call from Aunt May. I answer.

Y/N: Hey, Aunt May.

May: Hey, where are you?

Y/N: Just hanging around.

May: Remember to come home and get good sleep. Remember that we are helping you move out to your apartment tomorrow.

Y/N: We?

May: Your girlfriend MJ will be helping out. Gwen, who already moved out, will be helping as well. And Harry.

Hearing that name catches me off guard.

Y/N: Harry? Is he doing well.

May: It sounded like he is.

I smile.

Y/N: I hope so, he's going through a lot.

May: Yeah, well how about you get home?

Y/N: Ok.

I finish my burger and put my mask on. I swing away.
