Chapter eleven: Helping a Innocent nun ( Part One )

It has been about a week after meeting Rias Gremory with her peerage, and the date I had with Raynare.

Raynare is very quiet and kept to herself most of the time unless when I speak to her, or she needs something from me. I don't know if we could be considered boyfriend and girlfriend, but I'm fine with that. The date we had was not an actual date if you think about it, but right now all I want is Raynare to heal herself. And knows that I'm here for her if she needs someone to talk with.

" Man Ddraig it's been almost a whole month since we met " I rested my head on the couch cushions as Raynare sat in the kitchen, eating some leftover food.

[ Yes it has, and you been improving very fast ever since we started hunting stray devils or some creatures lurking in the shadows. I sense that your potential is slowly reaching towards the three of them ]

" My potential eh? I can't wait when that happens "
I raised my hand in the air as I smiled, a faint imagination came into my head. Flying in the sky as a red comet, wings of fire spewing out of my balance breaker as my gems glowed in a bright color.

But that thought came to a single stop as I sat up yawing, almost forgetting that I need to go shopping today. Standing up from the couch as I called out to Raynare.

" Hey Raynare would you like to go out shopping with me? You been coop up in here for some time. How about it? " I checked my pockets to see if my wallet is there.

" ....... " Raynare was silent as I raised an eyebrow.

" Raynare?..... it's fine if you don't want to go. I'll be back in an hour and an half, gotta buy more food and such " I walked closer to the front door as I grabbed my shoes, before suddenly hearing footsteps from behind me.

As I turn around too see Raynare walking up to me as she grabbed her shoes as well.

" I'll go..... I need new clothes " Raynare said as I smiled lending my hand out for her to take it.

" Ok then let's go Raynare " she slightly hesitated but nonetheless took my hand, walking out the house as we walk down the block.

Both of us walking in silence as Raynare's eyes seem so faint and daze, but still had life in it. A certain hope for something, for someone. Which I and Ddraig notice a lot for the past week.

[ Why don't you finally ask Raynare about what's going with her? She never talk much about herself even when you talk to her ]

Ddraig asked.

' She needs time Ddraig, she has trauma that can't just be overcome immediately. If I try to talk and tried to make it uncomfortable for her, making it seem like I'm forcing her to speak what's on her mind. She just needs someone to be by her side, knowing that when she is ready she can talk to me at anytime. All we can do is just wait when that time comes ' I told Ddraig as we continue our walk to the mall, which took 20 minutes to walk towards the nearest one that is slightly close to my house.

I also noticed some stares from the random people walking past us, older and younger women staring at me with a heart full gaze. While the man stare at Raynare with lust, especially at her assets. Which I glared at them, making them look somewhere else as we arrive inside the mall.

Heading towards the clothing store that seem really expensive, but that's fine. As long as this could make Raynare a little happy, and could find herself to enjoy something. That's all it matters in my opinion.
