Ch:24 War And History [Part I]

Evena's pov

My father looked angry but relived at the same time

"Evena that was it" he said

"Well it ain't my fault"

"This is really hard decision and we will talk later and dragonite is going keep an eye on you"

It's been 2 hours straight and I am sitting inside a boring big room

Dragonite and Eevee are playing some sort of game

And I am sitting bored in my dad's rented house

*Door Opens*

"Where were you" I asked

"Nothing"

"Hmmm......"

"You know lately I have been worrid about you, you do reckless things which may get you killed, hence I have came to a conclusion that..." he says

"You are either going to travel with me or you are going back to blackthorn city"

"What? Neither of them!" I said

"I don't care about what you want because it is for your safety" he said

Well I can keep an eye on him but still I am not a five year old needing her father for care

"No" I said

"Charmelion use smokescreen" I screamed

Me, Eevee and charmelion came out of the rented house

Now then I decided to go inside the city as fast as I can but I was blocked by my father

That was quick

"How dare you pull such a trick!" He said

"Charmelion flamethrower"

I know this is the dumbest thing anyone can do is to try fight a champion head on with his strongest pokemon

"Dragonite use protect" he calmly stated

As he started to walk towards me "Eevee use swift!"

Eevee didn't listen

"Vilplume come out and use stuns spore" I say

I know one thing for sure, If Lance was not my father I'd be in jail right now

Because I didn't use stuns spore on dragonite I used it on my father.....what!? Don't judge me for it!he is forcing me to technically give up my freedom which I got few months ago!

I started to walk as my father was in not suitable condition to give dragonite 'orders' anymore

But still dragonite stood in front of me like a loyal dragon............oh! wait he is a dragon

"Dragonite I know what I did was wrong but pls let me go I don't want to fight you" I said

It opened it's mouth and energy started to being collected

As I take few steps back and it releases that strong beam as I closed eyes

When I open my eyes I was still alive

Well the next thing shocked me even more, my father had just pushed me aside from the damaged area or where I was standing

His right hand was bleeding

And dragonite looked like he was apologizing to his master for the injury it caused

"E-Evena d-don't leave" he said

I felt guilty of everything I did to him

This man's technically paralyzed and yet he defends me to his last breath

Tears start and I tell dragonite to take us towards hospital as I call Charmelion and Vilplume back

It was good that nobody was in the hospital I mean no patient was there

"Well our champion is all right, his arm is ok and the paralysis is gone" a nurse told me

"How did he get into such situation?" The nurse asked

My blood ran cold

"I-I...."

"The champion wants to see you" another nurse came and said

I grabbed my bag and eevee as we started to walk towards the room

I have enough courage to face my father after what had happened......I don't know from where that confidence come

I wait 15 mins before for getting inside the room

I heard yelling of two people

"I think it is you!" I heard a familiar voice

"What do you mean!!!"

"That war you started!people want revenge and they don't want you as there champion!"

"I was a foolish teneger that time"

"Yea your idea of utopia led to many organizations!" It's professor Oak

"armmm......what's going on?" I ask barging in

"Evena I wish I could tell" professor said

"Then tell"

"No!Nothing more about it!pls professor leave!" My father said

"As you wish" professor Oak said and then he left

"Now you may tell me about your war you started when you were a teneger!?"

"Pls not now!Give me a break" he said

"You deserve it" I said as I sat beside him

"I am sorry" I said

"It's alright"he said

"How?I don't think so,I mean how did things go this bad between us?" I asked

There was a long silence between us,I don't know what to do bur leave

"Wait Evena!" He yelled

I didn't listen and started walking towards the exit
