"I need you to listen to me." Dad said, holding my shoulders as he stared into my eyes with the most serious look I've ever seen.

He also looked like he was going to cry.

"Yes dad?" I spoke up.

"If I do not return from my job tomorrow morning, call that number on the kitchen counter. Do you understand?" Dad said.

"You're scaring me Dad." I said, starting to tear up.

Instead, he gave me a long hug as he sobbed into my back.

"I love you, (Y/n)." He said.

"Hello?"

I spoke, sniffling in-between my words.

"Um.. *sniff* My dad said to call *sniff* this number if he didn't show.... *sniff* my dad is gone."

He was gone.

"(Y/n)!" I felt my body being shook.

I snapped my eyes open, frantically looking around.

"Huh?" I mumbled, wiping the tears from my eyes looking up to see Henry.

"You were balling your eyes out in your sleep." Henry said, his face full of concern.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I said quietly, looking down.

"Same dream?" Henry asked.

I nodded.

Henry sighed, placing his hand on my head.

"Go wash up and come downstairs, okay?" He said, giving me a smile.

I nodded again, getting up to go to the bathroom.

Henry had set up the table for breakfast.

I smiled, thanking him as I sat down to eat.

"How are you feeling?" Henry asked.

I shrugged.

"A little better, definitely more awake now." I said, taking a bite out of the pancakes he made.

It's been 16 years since my dad went missing.

I've learned to deal with the looks of pity from others as I walked around this town.

But the nightmares from that night never left.

Hearing a knock on the door, Henry and I turned to face it.

"Mikey." We both said, as the familiar blonde walked in with a smile.

"Gooood morning." Mikey greeted.
