The day I found the flyer and told Henry I would apply, he was completely against it.

I had to convince him for hours that I would be okay.

Eventually, he agreed.

Applying for the job was surprisingly even more easy.

They immediately accepted me, which made me even more suspicious.

But like last time, I had that same feeling that something was
drawing me to the job.

I couldn't back out now.

The day before the first day, I made sure to sleep enough so I wouldn't fall asleep during my shift.

Mikey was also concerned about the job.

I told him I'll be fine, but he offered to pick me up and drop me off.

I had to agree, he didn't give me a choice anyways.

The outside of the building looked old.

Very old.

I let out a shaky sigh, stepping out of Mikey's car.

"(Y/n)." He called out before I walked away.

I turned around.

"Be safe. Text Baji, Henry, or me if anything happens." Mikey said sternly.

I nodded, smiling.

"Thank you." I said.

"See you at 6." Mikey said.

The place looked pretty creepy, I'll give them that.

Usually horror attractions were never scary, but this one was quite unsettling.

In the office was a old fan from the 80's I presume, don't know how it was even still working, and a box of old stuffed animals and other crap.

On the right of me was a surveillance camera with all the rooms, and to the left of me was a maintenance panel.

The equipment was ancient.

I was almost sure the stuff would break the second I touched it.

The old phone rang, so I pressed it.

A voice note spoke.

It was 12am so I assumed my night shift started now.

——————————————————

Whoever this guy was, I'm shocked he was able to record this for so long. He spoke for 4 hours straight.

The job was pretty boring to say the least.

I did the same things over again.

Checked the cameras, made sure everything worked, repeat.

One thing that confused me was the audio.

I pressed it and a little kid's laughter was played.

Or the kid said "hello".

Not sure what that's about.

There were also cameras in the vents.

Aside from that, it was a pretty easy job.

At 5am, I decided to relax a bit.

Nothing was happening, plus I was a bit tired.

As I closed my eyes, I started to drift off into a light slumber.
