#chapter 1#

Your walking along long hallway in the emperor's castle my 'Mother'

Lilith Clawthrone told me to go find the library as they started to put my boxes in my bedroom.

My Mother had just got the job as head of the covens,

She had been working for Belos as soon as she left school.

Ofcouse she didn't want to have a child but she ended up with me. 'Top student (of Hexside), takes bard, plants and healing ( though my mum wants me to study all so i could someday be head coven leader), oh and my name is y/n."

"Click." The door turns slowly as you start taking your steps into the library. You turn to see big long rows of books, they looked like they went for miles. You then turn your attention to see a boy that you have seen before, wind blowing through your hair, he must have opened a window in here.

You were looking up at the windows not knowing that the boy had gotten up and started walking towards you. You turn your head down to see that this boy was the golden guard, the boy who your mother thought was a brat for being Belos' right hand man.

He looks you up and down, probably because he's never seen you before.

"Who are?, And if you work here why don't you have your uniform on?" He had said it in a stern tone, you looked back at him with a startle face, you started to calm down again. "I'm just moving in, my Mother is head of the covens." your face had smirk on and moved to start looking at the books.

"Oh your Lilith's kid." His tone was calm but it felt sad.

"How come you're only coming now?" his voice had filled up curiosity.

The golden guards POV

'OMG why did i just ask that? It's not like I care at all about this witch at all. I had just met them!' his head goes off at him.

"Why do you care?" they say, their head turns to look at you, their eyes stare right though the holes of the owl mask you were wearing.

"I'm just curious." I said, I grabbed the book I was reading and started heading towards the door. "My Mother made me go to a boarding school when I started high school." they splutter out, you turn to see them sitting at a table with a book that i recognised.

'Bones to Earth' "hey you know that book?" I started to realise that I shouldn't have asked. "No, I just wanted to take a look. Do you know it?" they said with a half smile on their face,they started flipping through the pages leaning in on the palm of your hand, "hey wait don't just flip through the pages, you have to go in order otherwise the book won't make any sense!" I start to realise again that I shouldn't have said that.

My face started to heat up from what I just did, 'that was so embarrassing, why did I do that?' his head is still going at him from the first time. "Huh?" you say back at you."Never mind just read yourself." he mutters under his breath and starts walking to the library doors. "My name's y/n." they say, their eyes not looking at but every few seconds they would quickly gaze at me. "Just wanted to let you know." they stare still not looking at you. "Thanks." I say then I walk out to the hallway. The door shut behind me and i slip down the door.

'Ughhhhhhhhh' why did I start talking to them in the first place.

His head once again went off at him. "Their name y/n?" he whispered to himself. I saw Kikimora and quickly got back up, "hello golden guard." she had said it in a slow quiet voice, she had to look up at me and dusted something off her shoulder. 'Ughhh i hate her so much' "what do you want kikimora." I had said in an angry tone so that she knew to hurry up with her answer. "Just wanted to let you know that Emperor Belos wanted to see you." She said that and walked into the library. 'Oh okay' and I started to walk to the doors of Belos himself.

y/n pov

'This book is so interesting. Why was it on the floor in the first place?'

You had gotten to chapter 4 by the time Kikimora had opened the doors. 'Ughhhh, what is she doing here?' you closed the book and picked it up. you had thought that my room would be filled with boxes now. You didn't have any problem with Kikimora as she seemed to not have seen you. You pushed your chair in and started to walk to the doors of the library, you got out safely without letting Kikimora see you.

"Few! That was close." you said with an exhale of relief. "Wait a minute, where is my room?" I had to think to myself for a quick minute 'oh one of the guards have to know where the head of the coven rooms are, my bedrooms just a couple halls down from my mothers.' I went to the first guard I could see, he looked at me and then i asked him where the head covens leaders dorms were. "why should i tell you, you could try and ambush them or something?" he had said it in stern voice and then realised who she was talking to. "OH so sorry mam just take t lefts and one right and then keep walking until you see the hole in the wall.

'hole in the wall?' why was there a hole in the wall? you had shrugged it of and went the ways he had told you.

you had then found myself walking right pass the big hole in the wall but there were two giant golden doors standing of the other side of me. you had let out a 'yeep' when the doors started to move.

Helooooo, short chapter i was trying to get my computer to login to my new account but i got it now so yay! but ill try and update as much as i can and make it interesting as possible
