You Really Like Him

#Chapter 4#

You and the Human went into the market to grab the supplies for the spell you were doing.

As you and the human were walking back she tried to start a conversation. "so~ your Lilith's daughter?" you look at her and then roll your eyes. "Yes. why do you care?" you had said it with and attitude but let your face calm down. "nothing, I just live with her sister." she said and kept her eyes straight forward, 'wait Aunt Eda?' you thought. you were thinking about it and nearly hit a few people while lost at thought. "and what about you and the golden guard?" she said and smiled at me. you got fluster and turned your head the other way. "what do you mean?" you said acting like you didn't know what she was thinking of. "you know, you guys like each other. I mean you don't really hide it every much at all." she turn to look at your every red and tensed up face.

"haha, you do like him, don't you?" her face was filled with laughter and a wide smile. you stayed very quiet the way back to the roof.

~time skip to walking back to the roof~

"you got the stuff?" hunter ask as giving me a hand as i climb back up the rope. You nod at him and let go of his hand. the human uses one of her glyph again to get back on the roof.

The human explained the plan and got to work on making this big glyph that she said will cause the sleeping nettle to go though the air. you sat back and watched the human get to work, Hunter stood behind the human to make sure she wasn't up to any shenanigans. she told me to put the nettles in the plant pot in the middle of the glyph. You did as she said and went to sit next to hunter who was sitting against the wall of the glyph.

"What is this going to do to help us?" Hunter asked the human, she looked at Hunter and said "this is a fire and ice glyph mixed together will make mist and the sleeping nettles will make kikimora's dragon go to sleep."

"oh that's really smart." you said, you go to look at hunter with a reassuring smile but he was already looking at you. 'crap!' you thought. your ears turn pink and hunter giggles at you. Hunter looked at the human again and said. "you know this magic is very similar to the magic in the savage ages." he went on with the human for a little then stopped. your smile dropped on your face, he looked really happy explaining his interests with the human. He went to look at you, you then heard a loud roar. "Whoa!" you said startle, you all put your masks on and the human slapped the glyph on the wall.

Hunter let you and the human on his staff, he got on and you drew a circle that let a little light sphere float on top of your hand. Hunter hopped onto the staff and started to fly, you heard a big thump on the ground and pointed to see where it was, both the human and hunter nods at you and hunter went to fly in that direction, on the ground you the big hand dragon that flew you out the air the first time. The human got off the staff and ran to the little wooden house to check on the palismen. You look to see Hunter pointing his staff at the Human, your eyes widen when this happens. "Oh right I guess I don't think things through, heh." the human said she took a step back while nearly tripping. He lowers his staff and takes the bottom half of his mask off. "My names Hunter." he says, he turns his head to you, your eyes lighting up as you say your name. "I'm Y/N!" you said joyfully, your smile fades as a shot of purple light hits the top of Hunter's head. You jolt your head to where the attack came from, there lays a small little purple woman nearly passed out on the ground. Her eyes start to shut but manages to get up and starts to draw a spell circle. You draw an yellow tinted circle and thick vines wrap around kikimores ankles.

She shoots her purple magic everywhere while tripping on the vines. Hunter dash's up to her and hits her with his red magic, she flies off the ground in front of the Human, the key around neck flies off. You try to jump onto her but she manages to dodge out of the way. She picks up the key, just at the moment kiki was about to hit the human Hunter swooped in and hit kiki out of the way. She shoots more purple magic and burns a little bit of the tip of Hunter's hair off. You see the human jump onto the dragon but for some reason just sit there you do nothing and just stare, you hear Hunter finish off kiki and look at him to see he has taken off his mask looking up at the sky. You slowly walk over to him to see if he's okay. He looks back down at you and points back to the castle. You nod. You hop behind him on the staff and wrap your arms around his waist.

You feel your eyes getting heavy as you lean on Hunter's shoulder and drift away.
