Amaya stood in the dimly lit room before her father, Ubuyashiki. His presence was as gentle as it was commanding, and Amaya knelt silently, waiting for him to speak.

"Amaya," his voice was soft, yet it carried weight.

"Yes, Father?" she answered, her tone calm and respectful.

"I would like to ask you a favor," Ubuyashiki began, his gaze drifting thoughtfully.

"Anything, Father. Your will is mine to follow," Amaya assured him, her heart steady.

"Do you know of the Kamado boy from the Final Selection?" he asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Yes," Amaya nodded, recalling the moment clearly. "He protected Kanata during the trial."

Ubuyashiki's expression grew more serious. "I want you to accompany him on his missions. Watch over him carefully."

Amaya's brow furrowed slightly. "Why, Father? What makes this boy so special?"

Her father paused before answering, his voice quiet. "He and his sister may hold the key to ending Kibutsuji Muzan."

Amaya's eyes widened in surprise. Muzan—the source of all their suffering. Could it be true? She quickly composed herself.

"As you wish, Father. I will do as you ask," she said, bowing her head in obedience.

"Thank you, Amaya," Ubuyashiki said softly, his voice full of unspoken burdens. Amaya rose, determination filling her as she prepared to carry out her new mission.

Suddenly, a loud screech echoed from the sky.

"CAW CAW! MISSION! MISSION! CAW CAW!" A black crow swooped down, circling above her.

"Speak," Amaya said, with a calm but firm voice.

"HEAD NORTH, CAW CAW! YOUNG WOMAN DISAPPEARING! CAW CAW!"

"Alright, I heard you!" Amaya called out, shaking her head as the crow continued its noisy cries.

---

**Amaya's POV:**

I need to find this Kamado boy... What could be so special about him? His aura during the Final Selection was kind, and he stood up for Kanata with courage and grace. But... something about him puzzles me.

I muttered quietly to myself, "Why does he feel... different?"

Just then, Leila, my loyal crow, swooped down and perched on my shoulder.

"Leila, have you found Kamado?"

"CAW CAW! YES, HE IS HEADING NORTH! CAW CAW!" Leila confirmed, her voice clear.

I petted her gently. "Thank you, Leila. You’ve done well."

With that, I set off in the direction of Kamado’s mission, running swiftly across the forest path.

**Time Skip**

It was late by the time I reached the town. The atmosphere was thick with fear, and I could sense the unease in the air. The townspeople were nervous, worried about more disappearances. I stayed hidden as I moved across the rooftops, scanning the streets below.

Suddenly, a voice cried out, filled with desperation.

"YOU VILLAIN! BRING BACK MY FIANCÉE!" A man shouted, holding a trembling young woman close.

My heart tightened at the sight of their fear. I noticed a figure in the distance—a demon. It sneered, its voice cold.

"Hmm? I don’t know who your fiancée is, but if she's gone, then I’ve already claimed her."

Enough was enough.

"Wisteria Breathing, First Form: Flowers’ Nest!"

I leapt from the rooftop, using my technique to create a protective barrier of flowers, meant to hold the demon at bay. Just as I was about to confront it directly, the demon suddenly sank into the ground, disappearing into a strange, shadowy hole.

"Amaya!" I turned to see Kamado Tanjiro rushing toward me.

"It’s you... from the Final Selection!" Tanjiro exclaimed.

"Tanjiro, be careful!" I warned, sensing danger nearby.

Suddenly, the box on Tanjiro's back opened, and a figure emerged—a girl. She swiftly intercepted the demon's attack, defending Tanjiro with ease. I watched in shock as she stood ready to protect him.

"Nezuko! Come back to me," Tanjiro called, his tone filled with urgency. The girl, Nezuko, obeyed without hesitation.

I glanced between them, my mind racing. "Tanjiro... why do you have a demon with you?"

Before he could answer, I felt a sudden tug on my shoulder. One of the demons had grabbed me, pulling me toward the ground. Its voice was unsettling as it tried to drag me away.

I focused and took a deep breath, centering myself. With a swift movement, I freed myself from its grasp.

"Tanjiro, I’ll take care of this one. Go help the others," I said, keeping my attention on the threat.

"Nezuko, Amaya-san, I’m going underground to deal with the remaining demons. Please protect Kazumi-kun and the others!" Tanjiro shouted as he dove into the hole left by the demons.

"Be careful!" I called after him, turning to face Nezuko once again.

"So... you’re a good demon?" I asked cautiously, unsure what to make of her.

Nezuko hummed softly in response, her expression calm and gentle.

"Alright then... Nice to meet you," I said with a small smile, though the situation left me feeling unsure.

Suddenly, the remaining demon charged at us "DON'T IGNORE ME YOU HARLOT!!!" its focus now entirely on Nezuko and me. It lashed out with quick strikes, but I quickly intercepted, protecting Nezuko.

"Wisteria Breathing, First Form: Flowers’ Nest!"

Using my technique, I surrounded the demon with a delicate barrier of flowers, halting its advance. Tanjiro soon returned, his face resolute as he confronted the demon.

"Tell me what you know about Muzan Kibutsuji!" Tanjiro demanded, his voice firm.

The demon froze, fear overtaking it. "I... I can’t! I’m not allowed to say!" it stammered, trembling under the pressure.

It tried to make a move, but Tanjiro swiftly intervened, stopping it from causing more harm.

I watched as the situation calmed. "Go check on your sister and Kazumi-kun," I told him gently. "I’ll wait here."

"Thank you," Tanjiro said, his voice full of gratitude as he ran off to tend to them.

I stood still for a moment, reflecting on everything that had happened. 'What an intriguing boy...'
