chapter 9 Silent Guardian

Its been 4 weeks ever since Claire last saw Leon because of still working in terrasave she never has the chance to meet him not to mention being torture by the amount of paperwork that she has to do atleast she still have her cat but Claire still miss her big cuddly teddy bear that give's her a warming smile in the morning and not being able to hold his muscular arm's was extra damage to her but the lady still have to drag her ass to work everyday because she need to eat

Claire finished the remaining paper on her desk then sat up and clean her desk which was covered with sign paper,she looked at the clock and like always it was 5:00 the time she would usually have dinner

Claire order chinese takeout because she didn't felt like cooking today while waiting for her order she turned on the tivi and change the channel to fox news for some entertainment while listening to the reporter on the news Claire heard something that really got her attention

"videos of a mysterious figure that showed up everytime there was a bioterrorist attack has been going viral on the internet, if we zoom in and take a closer look at the figure it looks like he wears a red suit,red scarf and a hood to cover his face and it look's like he has a sword attached to his hips" it didn't took long enough for Claire to realized that it was her cuddly teddy bear Leon long story short ever since Leon was khown to be stronger than every single B.O.W umbrella has created the U.S.A goverment has kept it a top secret in order to prevent terrorist from capturing him to use his blood and make B.O.W that would be on his level,only The BSAA and former S.T.A.R.S member along with Claire khows what Leon has up on his sleeves but to be honest can they capture someone who can pull 3 helicopter on a daily routine?

Claire smirk and mumbled "someone watched too much batman" as Claire pour food on her cats bowl and put it down the news kept going on until they interviewed a guy who witness the fight between Leon and 50 tyrant

"It was suppossed to be an unfair fight but he made it fair,it was like watching 50 house dog fighting a full grown polar bear it was madness! his technique is something i've never seen before it was so graceful yet devastating" as the man yelled on the microphone looking like a 2 year old child who just saw a plane

Claire's phone suddenly rang she pick up the called and a voice full of energy yelled through the phone "Hey Claire-bear long time no see how are you doing?" it was Chris, Claires overprotective brother who called her "im doing fine Chris no need to yell you almost broke my eardrums" Claire signed "sorry for that but i called you in today because everyone on the S.T.A.R.S and BSAA invited you to join a party that Piers and I prepared remember to invite your future husband alright?"

"goddammit Chris when did Leon told you that?" Claire blushes "when you were not with us obviously anyways the time is 6 pm at bambinos see you Claire-bear"

"ok see you soon" Claire ends the call and heads to her closet, she chose her usual two shorts shorts and made in heaven red jacket that she wore during the raccoon city event

Claire heard her door being knocked so she went to open it a big man with a red suit lean beside her door and it was obvious who it was "Glad to see my redhead tomboy again" Leon smiles at the glimpse of Claire wearing her old clothes, he really like them because they made Claire stands out from all the other girls and that's why he like Claire

"shut up big boy" Claire rolled her eyes playfully and gave Leon a kiss on the cheek "shall we go?" as Leon press the unlocked button on his car key

"alright let's go mr.vengeance" Claire teases Leon "alright yes im a batman fanboy ok? i just like Bruce Wayne in general" Leon roll his eye playfully

Leon and Claire were greeted by the BSAA team and some former S.T.A.R.S member like Barry and Rebecca,Leon and Claire were "late" even though they arrived right on time,everyone got here early because they didn't have anything to do

"the new lovebirds are here" Jill teases the two of them Leon blushes and look away while Claire smile awkwardly Chris give Leon a death stare as usual

everyone had fun laughing and getting drunk in the bar Piers and Chris having a drinking competition,Barry being the strongest drinker and the rest are either eating or making jokes Claire surprisingly drank 10 shots of whiskey before getting knocked out Leon being completely sobered even after drinking 3 bottle of whiskey he sat there in silence smiling at everyone he looked at Claire who is sleeping wondering if being in a relationship while having to work 10 hours a day is gotta work out

"no matter how hard it is i'll try my best to keep her smile stick on her face" Leon thought to himself, he drank another bottle of whiskey before heading outside for a stroll

Leon put his headphone on and listens to way down we go by KALEO while walking at the nearby park after walking for 30 minute Leon senses someone stalking behind him it seems like they have a grappling hook with them judging by how the stalker appeared on a tree and then a building it didn't took him long to realized who it was

"i have enhanced senses you khow?" Leon turn around and his crimson eyes met with a brown eye of a asian woman it was her again... Ada Wong...
