I Love You

🔴Red🔴
You were so happy in the Alola region. You had managed to convince the heads of the Alola region to bring contests there. The halls wouldn't be as big or extravagant like in other regions. They would be simple and more fitting in with the Alolan culture. You had been working tirelessly to get everything set up, to the point where you hadn't been seeing Red so much lately.

Between your contests and his battles, you hadn't seen each other in weeks. You were getting a little snappy with people who needed information from you when it came to organizing contests. And the same could be said for Red.

Red's silence was no longer a comfortable one. It was cold and on edge. Blue noticed right away how Red was blowing challengers off after a battle and wouldn't contribute anything to conversations. Or at least less than usual.

Blue figured he should confront Red about it before it got out of hand. "Red! Wait up!" Blue called out. Red was walking up ahead with a slight scowl on his face. Red ignored him and kept walking, but Blue was quick to catch up. "Man, what's going on? What's got you in a mood?"

That's when Blue noticed Red's phone, which was currently showing a picture of the two of you together in Sinnoh. Suddenly, everything made sense. "So how's [Name] doing? Been a while since I've seen her around." Blue crossed his arms behind his head, noticing how Red's hands tightened around his phone. "Ok look, no one here wants to deal with a grumpy Red. Take the rest off the day off and go see your girl." Blue brushed past and pulled out his phone to call you.

You waited eagerly at the Seafolk Village, feet dipped in the water. When Blue called you saying he was sending Red to meet you, you canceled all your meetings and left immediately for the small village.

You weren't waiting long when you heard footsteps running toward you. You turned to see Red running quickly toward you, making you stand up immediately. As soon as Red reached you, he wrapped his arms around you and held you close. You looped your arms around his neck and nuzzled your face into his neck. "I missed you too.." You mumbled, happy to be in his arms again.

Red pulled away just for a moment before kissing you softly. You enjoyed the kiss immensely and melted into him. Suddenly, Red pulled away and leaned in close. "I love you [Name]..." Red whispered into your ear. His voice was soft and a bit raspy from lack of use, but it sent a chill up your back. Your eyes widened, and you felt tears threatening to fall. "I love you too Red.." you replied before kissing him again.

You and Blue had decided to take a break from champion and gym leader duties to do something more fun and lighthearted. So he took you over to Celadon City for the game corner. After the Team Rocket debacle, Celadon decided to try and make the game corner a little more family-friendly, so instead of nothing but slot machines, they made it into more of an arcade. They still had slotmachines for the adults, but they also now had air hockey, skee ball, racing games, and all others.

Blue was doing his best to impress you by doing well at every game you both tried and winning a lot of tickets. It was working. You were very impressed, but you couldn't let him know that so easily. As he shot another basket in the basketball game, it started spewing out ticket after ticket. "Ok Bluey, that's pretty cool I guess." You shrugged and smiled. Blue looked at you aghast. "Come on doll! I'm doing the best in here? What's it gonna take to impress you?" You thought about it and looked around, eyes landing on something.

You smiled brightly at it and pointed. "If you can win me that, I'd be really impressed!" It was a giant Mareep plush. It was almost as big as you and looked incredibly soft. Blue stared at it, then glanced at the amount of tickets it was worth. "Easy peasy doll!" "Haha sure, I'm gonna get us some drinks." You walked off.
