"Are you sure?"Hermione asks for the 100th time in the last hour look up from sturing the potion we are paired up to make.
"I'm fine."I say giving a small smile.Handing her the cutted beans needed for the potion.
"I just cannot believe what an arse he is."she sighs."I just didn't expect it."she mutters under her breath.
I shrug turning back to cutting the last few ingredients making sure they are perfect for the potion.
"Miss Smith may I speak to you for a moment?"Snape asks standing in front of me, staring down at me while I look up.
"Yes sir."I respond knowing exactly what we are going to talk about.
That morning I woke up with a sleeping Veronica in my arms.The group decided to sleep in my and Pansy's room-making me and Pansy on mine while Theo and Blaise on hers. Draco sleeping on a chair. I tried to make him sleep with me and Pansy or even with Blaise and Theo but he refused. He wanted to make sure no one came in while we slept. Being on guard.
"I told you you could have off until the tournament is over."Snape says now outside of the classroom.
I nod."I know, I know but that's all I have been thinking about...I need to get him out of my head Snape you know that.I need to get it out of my head."I say tears in my eyes.
He sighs before pulling me into a hug."Your father has been informed about this.I told him over letter last night after I got the news."he explains.
Snape has always been like a second father to me.He may seem like a old angry professor but he is a softie is heart.My godfather of course..I couldn't survive without him.
"He demanded that you go back home for a few days.Just for a while Kattie..I know you don't want to but you need to."he says pulling away.
I sigh before wiping my tears away nodding."I will, I need to bring positive me back as soon as possible.How to you have that mean character image on you, how do you even live like that."I giggle.
Snape rolls his eyes , then returning into class with me behind him.
I make my way back to the table with Hermoine doing the last touch ups before the bell for the next period rings.
"I'll see you later Mione."I hug her while making my way out on class.
A few seconds into walking the group forms together by the Slytherin common room.We all had a free period after potions.
"So you're leaving for a few days?When?"Draco asks with sadness in his eyes.Looking at the floor.
"Tomorrow, my dad is picking me up tomorrow morning."I explain the plan for him.Sitting next to him on the couch with my head on his shoulder.
He holds my hand before pulling out a box out of his Slytherin robe's pockets.It's a small black box with a Snake Logo on it.
"I wanted to give you this last night but I couldn't."he says softly.
I gave him a small smile before opening it."This is lovely Draco, why though?"I say looking at the small ring with •D.M• written in the inside.
"It's a promise ring Kattie.Promise me we will last forever.Promise me we will never loose our friendship.Promise me."he says looking at my hands now.His soft voice breaking a little.
"Draco why are you giving me a promise ring?Of course I promise.Did something happen?"I ask looking at his grey eyes.
He quickly shakes his head before muttering a no.He's lying.I know it.
"I promise nothing will happen to us Draco.I promise."smiling at him.
He takes me into a hug and kisses my forehead.I could live like this.I liked this Draco.I like Draco for caring about us.
We stay like this for a while until he breaks away.
"Let's go pack your bag, yeah?"he says standing up.We wave at the other three before going into the room.

"What's this?"
"Oh my Merlin, put that down right now Draco."I say sternly with red on my face.
"Is this what I think it is?"He says looking flustered.
"It's not mine, it's Pansy's."I quickly say.
He drops the very detailed lace underwear letting it fall onto the floor.A disgusted look on his face.I giggle putting it into the laundry.
"Don't ever let me touch anything like that, especially when it doesn't belong to you."he says still shocked about touching Pansy's underwear.
I roll my eyes putting the last few things into my bag before zipping it closed."Thank you." I say sitting next to him on my bed.
"For what?"he looks at me.
"Just being you."I say sheepishly looking at his lips.
He grabs my jaw softly placing his lips on my mine.It starts off soft until he slips in his tongue in making me gasp.He smiles into the kiss doing it again.It made me feel things the same way I did the night we kissed in front of everyone.
He grabs my waist pulling me onto his lap.Deepening the kiss.My hands make it to his soft hair making him groan.The feeling is getting stronger.
"Hey ,Snape is in the common room don't go to far."Theo's voice snaps standing at the door.What a cockblocker.
We pull away looking into each-others eyes smiling.
I stand up making my way to the common room.Draco stays in my room laying on his back looking at the ceiling deep in thought.I'll leave him for now about it though.
"Just here to remind you that it's tommorow morning at 6am not 8am."
I groan looking at Snape with pleading eyes trying to make him make it for 8.
He rolls his eyes walking out of the common room.What a little rat honestly.
