The Mythological Creature and The Blind Girl.

The Gate.

Willow felt herself cry, she sobbed into a ball... until she felt snakes come near her, she looked up and saw thousands, she squeaked "S-Stay back!" They only hissed in return, they came closer.... and closer and cl- but before they could get any closer a strange figure jumped in front of Willow and made hissing noises, "H-huh?" All the blotchy snakes backed away, "Hello?" "Hey are you alright? They didn't bite you did they?" That voice... she recognized it!

"W-Wait your voice! Your the boy from earlier!" "Yeah.. I got thrown into this pit.. something about being a sacrifice and all.." she looked at him but he didn't, he refrained from looking at her.

She hugged him and thanked him. She then looked at him, "Uhm... you know is rude to not look at someone when they are talking right?" She said "H-Hunter.." "Huh?" "...My name is Hunter." He then gave her a quick look by accident, he then quickly looked away.

She wondered why, his hair did move... really... weirdly. "Wait.. how are... you not stone?" "Stone? What ever do you mean?" "I... I looked at you and your looking at me how come your not stone?" "Haha.. your acting like the legend Medusa!" She giggled a bit, but then realized the snakes again "So uhhh do you maybe have a way out?" "Ah! Yes I do! Mind if i have your hand?" He asked feeling cringey asking her it.

"Uhm sure just.. where exactly are you?" She asked as she moved her hand around, "Oh how come you can't see me? Did you get dust in your eyes?" "No.. I um i.. uhhhh well I was born mostly blind. So it is quite hard to see haha... like right now it is kind of hard to see you!" Willow laughed it off, "Oh forgive me rudeness, well here let me get you on my back."

Willow nodded and he went down to her level and picked her up, "Comfy?" He asked giggling awkwardly she was a bright red. "Y-Yeah..." He nodded and started walking deeper, until he found a big gate. "Oh.. it hasn't opened yet.." He said "What do you mean?" "..This gate.. opens at a certain time. It can be worth the wait though!" "Oh.. wait.. how come you know so much?" "..." "i.. I will tell you later."

Hunter realized... she didn't turn to stone. She was sweet, kind... and.. really cute... a snake with a scar on it's right eye, it hissed saying "She is very cute.." another said "Look at her eyes!" All the snakes started gossiping on Hunter's new crush.

Willow heard more hissing, it scared her a bit. He then let her down "Since we are going to be waiting..." Hunter said, Willow nodded.

"Well what should we eat?" He asked, "We could eat the snakes...?" Willow said with a question mark, Hunter looked at her in horror "WHA?!" "Well we don't have to! I can see how that can see weird." Hunter looked at her in disgust the snakes were all shook "Flap did you hear what she just said?!" One of the snakes said, the snake nodded.

She looked at him and squinted, "Hunter..." "Oh Yes?" He answered back to her. Willow asked him "...If this is to personal... do tell me but, how come you were alone?" Hunter felt a bit upset "If.. I told you what... happened.. what would you say?" "I guess it depends on what it is." She said as she sat up against the wall next to him twiddling her fingers, "...My mom and dad.. were two different people." Willow felt confusion but let him continue. "My mom was.. a-a gorgon and my father was a human," "S-So... y-your.. a-a" "A gorgon and a human? Yes. I uh understand your fear or hatred against me.." "No? I.. I don't hate you! I.. I am just surprised," Hunter sighed and felt tears in his eyes. "I.. but.. why?" "You.. don't have plans to eat me so you?" "E-eat you?! No!" "Than, I trust you, I don't feel fear right now." She said as she grabbed his hand.

Hunter felt her hand grab his, his pointed ears went warm. She smiled as she looked at him, "Do mind if I hear more Hunter?" "No I don't mind, I can talk more about it." He took a sigh, "Well, as they became closer my mother got pregnant with me. But when the gate opened... my Father was met with guards with your king. Or... my Uncle, he took my mother and father and killed them out of cold blood." Willow knew the king was a terrable tyrant.. but.. not this bad.. "I.. I am so sorry.." Hunter looked at her and squeezed her hand a bit while resting on her shoulder. The snakes didn't hiss, they snuggled up against her.

Hunter began talking again, "Is fine, I was taken in by the gordons. His name was Darius he was like a father to me. At night I snuck out to get Darius a gift for his kindness, but when I went out the gate closed. I tried to opened it, but of course it could open yet. So.. I slept until morning went out and than met you.." Willow felt herself fall asleep, she yawned "Oh, sorry am I boring?" "Haha! No! I.. I am just tired." He yawned and snuggled even more against her, "Yeah agreed."

They both felt each other fall asleep, the heat of each other felt warmth in their hearts. They both than fell asleep, together.
