After getting that text from Tom I headed over to his house. Once I stepped onto his door step, it's almost like he was waiting at the window because he just opened the door.
Once he opened the door he grinned at me and threw something at me. I picked it up and it was a Minney mouse onesie. I rolled my eyes and looked up and Tom had disappeared into the bathroom while I walked upstairs to the guest bathroom.
I walked out in my ridiculous, looking onesie and laughed at him standing there in a Mickey Mouse one. He had the hood up showing the face of the cartoon character.
I could not help but bust out laughing. He grabbed my hand and walked me down the stairs into the living room. "I finally found the uno cards I lost!" He said grinning. "Ooo yay!" I replied, clapping my hands.
It felt like we had been playing cards for ever until I started to fall asleep. Tom had picked me up bridal style off the couch and went up the stairs carefully with me in his arms. He slowly placed me into the bed and covered me with the comforter.He crawled into bed beside me and switched off the lamp.
I slowly rolled over on top of him. He rubbed my back softly and kissed my forehead. "Good night my love." He whispered, as we fell asleep in each others arms.
