Madelaine POV

☆*: .。.  .。.:*☆

I'm standing on my front porch, messy looking and out of breath, I scramble through my purse trying to find the keys. This would be a really good time to have teleportation right now.

Ah screw it.

I knock on the door waiting for a reply

"Madelaine? is that you?" I heard Molly's mumbling voice ask.

"Yes it's me, please let me in, I'm worried Molly." I blurt my tone more seriously than normal.

I hear the door knob shimmy around, then open showing her lanky figure and a painful frown on her face. Molly was ten yet she looked like a model, she was tall for her age and unbelievably skinny. She always had a cheerful personality with a smile on her face, so seeing her like this was so sad.

"Molly what happened, are you ok, are you hurt?" I ask worriedly, scanning my eyes up and down her body to see if she has any bruises or scars.

She shuts the front door and locks it then wanders off into the kitchen, I follow after. She places her hands on the counter and boosts herself up so she's sitting on the marble countertop island in our kitchen. I look into her eyes, raising an eyebrow, trying to get her to answer.

"I passed out..." She looked down at her lap, as if she was ashamed to tell me.

"Oh Molly-"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you were probably having a great time wherever you were, and I interrupted it. I'm most likely fine and I'm probably just being dramatic."

My heart broke hearing her say that, I hate hearing her beat herself up like this with nothing was her fault.

"Molly you're not being dramatic, you passed out, you were scared, so you called me, it's fine," I say reassuring her, "now when did you pass out?"

She filled me in on all the details of what happened, to be honest she's so brave if I were to pass out at her age I would be balling my eyes out right now. I'm such a baby though.

"I know you're fine now but let's take you to urgent care, okay?" I nod to her. She nodded back. "I just don't want it to happen again so we should probably figure out what's wrong."

She hopped up from the counter and put on some black boots that were sitting by the door, I slipped on my converse.

"You wearing those shoes makes you even more tall its freakish, your like slender man." I say, she laughs at my comment.

We get in my car and drive downtown to urgent care, on the way their we blast some Taylor swift and occasionally roll our windows down.

"I WAS ENCHANTED TO MEET YOU~ PLEASE DON'T BE IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE ELSE~ PLEASE DON'T HAVE SOMEBODY WAITING ON YOU~" we both scream out at the top of our lungs laughing at how badly were both singing. That went on for a little while longer until we got there.

I look at her with one hand over my heart and one hand on the keys, turning it slightly so the car shuts off, and the music.

"Noooo my Taylor swift." she giggles before we both get out of the car.

"lock the doors, I don't want some creepo to steal the car and take Bernard." I say pointing to the pink dinosaur plushie I have on my dashboard.

We walk inside and I immediately get hit with a whiff of the crisp hospital smell. I crinkle up my nose and look around the room wondering who's gonna be here on a Sunday evening, old people, pregnant ladies, makes sense. I walk up to the desk and there's that same old little house on the prairie lady from the coffee shop, this time wearing a green plaid shirt.
