“ Goodbye, my love..”

He was sitting on the ground which was fully covered with red flower petals, the full moon above him was shining with all its brightness.

There were no stars in the sky that night, the night sky was pitch black like it was covered with a dark veil just like the day of the attack which changed his life and him completely.

The color of the petals were as red as the vital liquid that was running through his veins. There were many things running through his mind and some unwanted descriptions.

He suddenly grabbed one of the petals from the ground as he felt a unique energy form them. The petal he took turned into a image like it became a mirror that's been showing memories.

The night appeared right before his eyes, the night of regret, the night of losing something, losing someone who is special and precious.

There was a red flower in her hands and she was holding it tightly as if her life depending on it. Then the flower became a stake, making her to shatter like glass afterwards.

"I knew that you're my fate but I didn't know that my destiny is to disappear to save you." Was her last words before disappearing in the thin air.

He threw the petal away in pain, tears had already been filled in his eyes, he grabbed another one just in the hopes of seeing something different, something that wouldn't give him pain, make him see painful memories.

The petal showed another different scene, they were walking pass the part of the forest where there is an empty part which was full of red flowers, the part in which he was sitting right at that moment.

They were running away from something together holding hands. However, in some part of it, she fell by tripping on a bush that grew on the ground, causing the thing that they had been running away from for hours to catch and attack her.

"Heeseung... Go.... Leave me behind you gotta get away from here, run as fast as you can and as far as you can, I'm sorry...."

Her eyes then closed, causing him to scream in pain he ran away in that moment to a place that is far away from there.

"You could've saved her! Weren't you her shield?" Was saying his inner voice but it knew that there was nothing he could do right then. Again, he saw pain and regret.

He threw away the petal one more time then decided not to touch any of them in the end. He just laid on the ground and looked up at the sky.

When he looked at the moon, he saw her face. She was smiling at him with all her love and warmth. A sense of sadness filled him up as he stared at her like that.

"The destiny, it loves playing games, right?"

"Our wasn't a game, it was a lesson a lesson of survival no matter what happens."

"What was the purpose of loving if I was going to lose you in the end, Dal?"

"Love is to get hurt but love is to grow as well, I'll keep on loving you and protect you like a shield from up above, from the moon. Goodbye, my love."
