I am meant to live a Dionysic life
Yet under my pillow lays a knife
Oh Dionysus, I plead thee
God of wine, hedonism and ecstasy
The men of this world are nothing but strife
I fear I'll never get to be a devoted wife
I wish to give you all of me
For a peaceful life, I'd Kill
I'd maim, I'd torture and I'd find it a thrill
Never anything more than a femme fatale on the playbill
All for peace? A million times still.
Oh Dionysus, I drop to my knees
If I'm yours, I swear, I'll never displease
I'll bring you platters of meat and cheese
Rub your feet to bring you to ease
Blush and obey at the order to rid of my chemise
Never to stray
Never to disobey
UnLike the legend of Cupid and Psyche
All that would matter
Is if I could FEEL you, and you could FEEL me.
I'd blindfold myself forever
If it meant feeling you til I die , my liege.
Oh great god Dionysus
Please take me!
from these human men, free me!
On my hands and knees
I scream
I beseech thee!
