Ryan pov:

We took my truck and drove to the mall, Jess and Chase were getting along really well. I was glad because chase and I spend a lot of time together. At the mall we headed to one of the clothing stores and Chase and I kinda just stood around while Jess looked at clothes. We offered our opinion and suggestions every now and then.

"I like her, I'm glad you did this." Chase said to me as we watched Jess look at some hoodies.
"I know, I'm glad I did it too." Jess held up a navy blue hoodie for us to see,
"I like it." Chase said, she nodded,
"But would it go with my hair?" Chase and I stared blankly at her, if she's like this when she's twelve I will be sending Erin and Emma with her shopping when she's a teenager.

"Yeah I'm not an expert but I think it would look good on you." I said, Jess looked at the hoodie for a bit before nodding,
"Yeah, okay I'm done with shopping for clothes." She said, she walked over to us and we went and paid for it before taking the bags to the truck. We then drove to a shoe store and got her a pair of blundstones and runners.

We then went to a paint store and let Jess pick out what paint she wanted.

"Oh Jess, this is the one!" Chase said, he pointed to a bright orange paint, she wrinkled her face up in disgust causing us to laugh.
"Ok ok but in all seriousness this is the one." I pointed to a weird brown colour,
"It would look like someone smeared poop on my wall." Jess said laughing.

After a while Jess finally settled on a light grey and a navy blue for a accent wall.
"It's gonna look great." Chase said as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder as we walked to the truck. I frowned slightly as Jess tensed up a little before relaxing.

"Okay to my parents house now." I said starting up the truck,
"What is everybody's names again?" Jess asked from the back,
"My moms name is Lisa, my dads name is Dave, you can call them grandpa and grandma if you want, but there's no pressure. My older sisters name is Emma, she's married to Cale and has two kids, Louie and Bodhi. And then there's Erin my younger sister who is dating William Byron." I explained,
Jess nodded, "I think I've got it."

We pulled up in front of my parents house and got out, I had told my parents and sisters this morning that we were coming over. And judging by the cars in the driveway the whole family was here.

I noticed Jess edging closer to me the closer we got to the door, with a nervous look on her face. I paused and pulled her into a hug.
"Don't stress Jess, their gonna love you." I told her, I held her for a little bit longer before letting go, she hugged me for a couple seconds longer before letting go as well. I glanced at chase and found him smiling at me. I continued to the door and opened it and walked in, not even bothering with knocking.

"Hello! We're here." I called as I took my shoes off, my mom came flying around the corner, she hugged me quickly before turning to Jess.
"Hi, I'm Lisa." Mom said introducing herself. Jess smiled shyly, "I'm Jess."
"It's so great to meet you, welcome to the family." I smiled as my mom pulled Jess into a hug,
"Hi." I said turning to my sisters who had come to stand beside me.
"Hey." Emma said, they then introduced themselves to Jess.

"And of course chase." My mom said laughing pulling Chase into a hug, "practically my fourth child." She joked. We walked into the living room and I introduced Jess to my dad, Cale and William. Chase and I sat down with the men while Emma, Erin and mom dragged Jess into the kitchen to have a 'girls' chat.

"What's it like being a dad?" Cale asked,
"Weird and amazing and scary." I said laughing,
"Just wait till she's a teenager." Dad muttered, his eyes widened as he shook his head, "then it gets real scary real fast."
I rolled my eyes, "I wasn't that bad." Dad raised his eyebrows causing William and Cale to laugh,
"No but put you and chase together and it was a nightmare, throw Bubba into the mix and it was horrific to say the least." Dad said, Chase and I look at each other before laughing,
"Just you wait till the boys come knocking, and they will for sure she's cute." William said, I glared at him,
"Don't even mention it, I don't want to think about that." I said, they burst out laughing.
