Imagine 52: Little Secret

The doorbell suddenly rings.

Time check, it's already 12:36 in the midnight. Who in the world would come at my house at this kind of hour? It's very late already, plus I didn't ordered anything. Well yeah I do order food sometimes at midnight, but today I didn't.

"Who could it be?", I said to myself. I just have no idea who it is. It's not my parents, nor my siblings, nor my friends. None of them told me that they would come.

I started to feel anxious as I slowly went to the door, but I didn't opened it yet. I placed my left ear on the door to hear something outside, but I couldn't. I couldn't hear anything, not even a thing.

"This is bad, so bad", I said as I grabbed my phone from the mini table of my living room and typed Dokyeom's number, my best friend. It may looks weird to you that I chose to contact my friend than contact the authority, but I have my reason. Dokyeom is just a few meters away from my house, it will only took 2 to 3 minutes for him to arrive, while the authorities, I think it will took 15 to 20 minutes for them to arrive at my house that's why I'm calling Dokyeom instead.

But before I could even call him, the doorbell rings again.

My heart started to beat fast as my sweat started to fall down to the side of my cheeks. Without any hesitation I immediately dialed Dokyeom's number then the doorbell rings again, three times in a row.

"Please, pick up Dokyeom", I said and my hands started to get cold and my knees started to tremble.

After a few seconds, a phone suddenly rings. It's not coming from the inside, but it's coming from the outside. Behind the door.

Wait... This ringtone... It sounds familiar to me...

"Don't tell me-", I ran towards the door and opened it as wide as I can.

And there I saw him, looking at me while trying to control his laughter.

"Surprise~", Dokyeom teasingly said with a grin on his face.

"You son of a bastard! Do you even know what you are doing?! You almost gave me a heart att-", I couldn't finished what I was going to say because he covered my whole mouth using his big hand.

"Ssh~ Don't be too noisy, your neighbors might wake up" he said, still grinning.

I removed his hand from my mouth and pushed him, "Get lost!", I said and was about to close the door, but he was so fast. He immediately blocked the door using his long leg then he opened it widely again.

"Not that fast, Y/N. Anyways, I bought some snacks, perfect for midnight movie watching", he said and enters my house without even getting my permission. I just sighed and closed the door before I locked it. I followed him to the kitchen and watched him placing the snacks that he bought on the dining table.

"Did I really made you scared?", he said but I rolled my eyes. I'm mad at him, he literally pisses me off in the middle of the night.

"I'm sorry, okay?", he said as he pats my head but I removed his hand away from my head.

"Don't touch me! If you want to watch some movie, go and watch alone in the living room. Just make sure you won't do anything stupid", I said as I started to walk away.

"Where are you going?", he asked as he follows me from behind.

"I'm going to sleep now. Don't disturb me or else I'll kill you!", I said without looking back at him.

"Oh come on! It won't be fun if I'm alone. I promise, you'll have more snacks than me, just please don't sleep yet. Let's watch a movie, just one movie. Please~", he begged behind me like a kid begging his mom for some candy.
