Readers Pov:
I woke up and grabbed my phone, seeing if there were any new art pieces or posts about Dreamtale. Unfortunately, there were none. I sighed as I got out of bed and got dressed for the day, grabbing my suit case full of supplies for work.
I grabbed my phone put in my head phones and began walking to work, fortunately enough my work place was close to my apartment so it was in walking distance. I was walking to work when I saw quite a crowd forming in the road, even cars were stopping.
I decided to check out what was going on, I began pushing my way to the front, when I saw a massive..... Portal....? It was massive! It was easily 14 feet wide all around! I stepped closer to get a better look when suddenly I was pushed!
My eyes widened as I began to fall into the mysterious portal as everything be fan to go dark....
Time skip brought by mysterious portals apparently!
I woke up, my eyes slowly opening as I assessed my surroundings. I then noticed two very familiar skeletons watching me cautiously. I quickly sat up but felt a sharp pain causing my to lay back down.
"You shouldn't move, your still hurt. I did manage to heal your major injuries but I don't have enough magic to heal your minor ones." The golden eyed skeleton spoke with a soft mellow voice
"O-Oh.... Would you mind telling me what happened?" I said trying to to move much "Well, me and my brother were reading together when we saw you fall from the sky into some bushes. We managed to get you out and heal most of your injuries"
"Well that very kind of you Dre- I-I mean stranger, by the way what's your name?" I mentally face palmed 'real smooth' "my name's Dream and this is my Brother, Nightmare!" I smiled "it's nice to meet you two." "So tell us, what's your name?"
