Chapter 2: Taking care of things

Elena woke up the next day and sighed. The sun was shining through her bedroom window. She climb out of bed and got dressed and headed down the stairs to get breakfast. She grab the cereal and milk and put it in a bowl and started to eat. Elena was missing her friend Lucy and Lisanna so she text them and asked if they could come over to keep her company and both agreed to come over to keep her company. It was Sunday afternoon any way and she was getting tired of being in the house. Elena went out on the front porch and waited for her bffs to come over.

Shortly after Lucy pulled in with Lisanna in the passenger. Lucy turned off her car and gets out. Lisanna followed her after unbuckling. Lucy rushes up and hugs Elena tightly and asked "Are you okay? Do you need anything, we all miss you at school. When are you coming back?" Elena smiled "I'm okay and I don't need anything as of right now and hopefully in a few days. I promise." Lisanna reached over and hugged Elena tightly. Elena looked at both of her friends and smiled "I was kind of hoping we could go to the Grill or the mall and do something, I'm tired of being in the house." Lucy and Lisanna nods and heads to the car.

Elena went to the back seat of the car and got in and buckled up. Lucy started the car and backed out and drove to the mall which was outside of Falls Church. Lucy turned the music up and sings along with it as did Lisanna. Elena looked out the window and hummed along to the song. Lucy kept an eye on Elena as they entered the mall and asked "What do you want to go first guys?"

Elena shrugged her shoulders "It's up to you honestly Lucy and Lisanna, it don't matter to me one bit. This just gave me something to do at the point." Lucy thought long and hard of where they should go and all of a sudden she shouts "Macy's!" she quickly took mine and Lisanna's hands and dragged us all the way to Macy's. Elena looked through the clothes and found a black dress which she would need for tomorrow. She sighed softly and went a paid for the dress.

Elena found Lucy carrying a huge pile of clothes in her arms "Are you buying all of those?" she asked her best friend.

Lucy nodded "Of course, can't have too many clothes!" Lucy went to pay for her stuff and we went to find Lisanna which she was smelling the perfumes. A few hours later Lucy drop Elena off at her Aunt's house and she goes inside and sat down for dinner. It was a peaceful dinner and surprisingly it was her favorite and it was made the same way like her mom made it. She finished dinner and got up and went to her room and laid down on her bed hugging the teddy bear when she heard Gray coming up to check on her. "I'm fine Gray, I promise, just had a long day. I'm going to change and go to bed. Good Night." Gray sighed nods and went out the door and headed to his room. Elena got ready for bed and went to sleep which started the dream of the car accident. She woke up in sweat and sighed seeing that she was safe. She slowly went back to sleep for the rest of the night.
