"COOKE! GET BACK HERE! I MEAN IT!! RIGHT NOW! COOKIE!"

My sisters were once again playing with their friend Cooke, destined to be a great soccer player. Like idiots, they made the bet that they could beat her in 1 out of 3 games of soccer. Guess who won.

So now Cooke can pick whatever game they play next. Guess what she picked. Yup, soccer. My sisters were mad she found that kind of loophole, but I find it hilarious. So, yeah Cooke has a giant soccer tattoo on her right arm. It's a soccer ball with our country's flag behind it. I have to admit, it's pretty neat.

I also had friends over, Evelyn (Evie) and Camila (Cam). They had been my best friends since 1st grade and we'd been 3 peas in a pod ever since. Yes, we were destined. Our tattoos are matching, three flowers, one yellow (me), one white (Cam), and one purple (Evie). At that moment we were listening to my sisters and gossiping.

We were talking about people's latest tattoos and, naturally, boys. Like how Kenny had recently gotten a microphone with a typewriter tattoo that probably meant he had a future career in writing, news casting, or both. And how Evie had gotten the initials LAL, which could have been Landon or Luke. Cam was currently dating Brandon, a nice guy, but so far they didn't know if they were meant to be. Both of the girls were encouraging me to just ask Jordan out, but I wanted him to ask me out like a proper gentleman would. I texted him, hoping he could pick up some hints I drop.

L: Hey. Can I talk to you for a couple of minutes?
J: Sure. What do you want?
L: I started liking someone, but he won't ask me out. What should I do?
J: Do I know him?
L: Yeah. He's one of your close friends.

Jordan had two other close friends, Marlon, a sweet guy but loud, and Reilly, an Irish gentleman who was currently dating Avery.

J: Marlon? Really? Never expected that one, but yeah, do you want me to ask him to?
L: NO!!!! But what should I do?
J: Just hang out with him more, dropping hints that maybe someone you know likes one of his friends or something.

I face palmed then and there. He was so clueless!

L: Ok thanks. See you tomorrow! Actually, do you want to go to the movies tomorrow after school with me to see The Avengers?
J: Sure, sounds great. Do you want me to invite Marlon?😉
L: No thanks. It can just be me and you, like the old times.
J: Ok then, bye. See you tomorrow!

That's when the butterflies started to kick in. Evie and Cam were right, I was going to ask him out.

Cara, Maria, and Cooke came bursting into my room with an excited expression on their faces.

"MOM SAID YOU WOULD TAKE US TO SEE THE AVENGERS TOMORROW!!!!!"

Uh oh.

I am deciding to change the grades that Cara, Maria, and Cooke are in. They will be in 2nd and Laurel will be in 9th. Yes, there is a huge age difference but I felt that Cara and Maria act younger than I originally planned them to be, and I don't want Laurel's age gap to be 9 years, so Cara and Maria got held back a year. In their world, it's normals to date at a young age, starting in Kindergarten.
