Doomed for Life

Laurel woke up later that morning, which was strange because she was usually a morning person. She felt a little drowsy and numb on her left hip. The drowsiness was probably just from squealing so much on the phone to Evie and Cam. Her hip, she had no idea. Maybe she bumped it while she was asleep. She checked there, just to make sure everything was all right. She looked down and saw her worst nightmare.

Initials. Encircled by a heart.

Classic for if you get a boyfriend and you are meant to be. But these initials weren't Jordan's. These initials were CTT. And there was only one person with those initials. CT Tamburello (sorry if I misspelled that). Aka The Beast. Aka the School Bully. Aka DOOM! Not really the last one, but if she was meant for him, it certainly would be.

This can't be right she thought. I hadn't got a tattoo with any initials until the day I started dating Jordan. And she felt numb when she woke up.

She shrugged it off, hoping it was just a bug and got ready for school. After changing into her favorite clothes, a black tee and jeans, topped off with a blue hoodie, she hopped downstairs smelling pancakes and bacon. Her sisters were already down there which was unusual for her since they usually woke up late. They were shoveling down their breakfast trying to see who could eat faster, while mom was warning them to be careful that they didn't choke.

Her dad was sitting at the table sipping his coffee and reading the newspaper. While her mom stayed at home and worked, her dad worked in an highly coveted government position. That's why I wasn't taken away at birth because my dad pleaded that he would watch and observe me without me ever needing to leave. He kissed the family good bye, including Cooke, and left for work whistling while swinging his briefcase back and forth. He was the epitome of a cliché father, but we all loved him for it.

My mother gave me food and told me to hurry because I was going to be late. She also asked me why I was awake so late. I told her it was just a bug and left for school. I usually caught the early bus, but today I had to walk because I had missed it. Never mind walking, I sprinted. I couldn't be late. I had never been late. I arrived into school a few minutes shy of the home room bell. As I stepped through the double doors, a cold wind hit my face. Well, that and something large and powerful.

I'm SOOOOO sorry for not updating but I was in Ireland until the 15th, I didn't have any inspiration, and The Challenge was taken off Amazon Prime so I had to deal with a little bit of heartbreak.

Anyways, I know it's short but as said above I had no inspiration for the chapter. The next one will be better, I promise.

Also, if anyone would like to see what any of the characters in this story look like just comment the person! You will however have to imagine them younger because these are based off reality TV stars, not my imagination!!!
