Two pair of feet ran down cold snow. A young girl chasing a boy of her age, before she caught up to him. When she got to him, she grapped a device, that looked like a measure tape, from his hands.

Suddenly, she stopped, stating to toss the tape from hand to hand.

"This thing is getting hotter!" The girl yelled, starting to yell 'hot', until the boy caught up to her.

"What did you do!?" The boy asked.

"I don't know!"

Just as she said that, it got into her hand, starting to let put bolts and bright light. The boy started to mumble under his breath, while the girl held the tape away from herself, holding onto the boy.

And then... it seemed to explode, sending two kids away from each other, the they tried desperately to reach for each other.

"DIPPER!" was the last thing, she remembered, before passing out.

A pair of mother and son walked down beach. The child held a bucket, filled with shells, rocks and sea weed in his hand, whole he was talking to his mother about stuff.

"Mom, look!" He suddenly said.

His mother looked down at him in confusion.

"What is it, dear?" She asked.

"A girl!" The boy said, pulling his mother to the said girl. "She doesn't look good, Mom!"

The woman looked over and finally saw it. There was indeed a child on beach, seemingly unconscious. They quickly went to her, as the woman thought what they could do.

She need to be very young, 13 at oldest. Dressed in stripped sweater, light skirt, socks and, from what it looked like, missing a shoe.

The two came over the small girl, sitting next to her. Okay, she was alive, breathing, but she was hot. That was a slight relief... but she needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible.

The woman looked around, when she noticed a phone booth not far away. She sighed, turning at her son.

"Sharmie, sweetie, stay with that girl, okay? I'll call the hospital and they'll come to check on her." She explained softly, getting a nod from the boy.

"Okay, Ma"

The woman gave her son one last glance, before heading towards the booth and went inside to make a call. Soon enough, it responded.

"Urgency line, what can I help?" A voice said on the other side.

"Good day, Ma'am, this is Caryn Pines speaking, Glass Shards Beach, New Jersey. Can I be connected with my local police and hospital?"

"Alright, Mrs. What's the emergency?"

"My son and I found an unconscious child on a beach..."
