"Where...where am I?"
—_—Castiel groaned as he heard something smashed. He knew they were at it again, he's very loving parents. Yep, it's been like this since he was adopted, that was about...eight years ago. He was eleven now, got adopted when he was three.
He puts his pillow on his ears hoping to block out the argument. But like every other time, it didn't work. Sure he loves his family but this was very redundant.
It was a Sunday night. He walked downstairs to see his Mom crying and Dad leaving through the front door still carrying a bottle of what he thought was beer.
Looks like his Dad had had enough with his Mom. She walks in everyday smelling like something that Castiel doesn't like. He didn't know what was that though nor does he wanted to.
"What did he do this time, Mom?" Castiel asked staring out the open door for a while.
"He's... he's never coming back, Castiel" She started to sob and Castiel could just look at her.
A few moments later there was a loud bang in the room, it almost made Castiel deaf. His eyes wide, too shocked to move, as he saw his Mother fall down to the floor...there was nothing on her face now, except for the hole from the shotgun which caused it.
Castiel looked at his father and stumbled down, already tearing up. He didn't know that it had gotten this worst. His father looked at him, no expression was showing on his face, then he ran out again.
Castiel was still shocked by how quickly the events went, he was too shocked that the morning the cops came in he was still on the floor looking at his mother like he was on a trance.
A blonde cop with curly hair looked at him. "Damn..."

Castiel was sitting on the passenger seat of a car, he was next to his new parent Chuck Shurley (was that right?). It was a month after that event and Chuck took custody over Castiel seeing as he had no relatives to stay with.
Chuck was happy though, Castiel didn't know why but he never questioned it. They drove for hours before Chuck parked, in front of a house it was a two story house, it was painted Blue but not as blue as Castiel's eyes.
"Okay little guy, this is my place. The place you're gonna live in from now on" Chuck said with a big smile. Castiel was hesitant, and didn't say anything instead just shaking his head.
"Oh come on i know my house's a little ugly but come on" Chuck joked, opened the passenger door and gently pulled on Castiel's hand. Castiel just let Chuck drag him towards the house.
Chuck knocked, often forgetting the house keys when he would leave. "Lucifer? Lucifer! Open the door please" A minute or so passed before the door opened to reveal a dirty blonde haired boy.
"Who's that Chuck?" He asked with a smile. Castiel got behind Chuck. "Adorable" he muttered
"Lucifer, this is Castiel. Castiel this is Lucifer" Chuck introduced.
Lucifer waved at Castiel but got nothing in return.
"You're new brother"
"Really!?, Guys!!! We have a new brother!!!" Lucifer called out into the house, the pattering of footsteps can be heard. After a moment a guy, much shorter than Castiel and Lucifer, stood next to Lucifer. Another one showed up, she had red hair and she was the same height as the guy that had golden hair and eyes.
