Daniel Phenton was as average as can be, that was until he tried to help his parents with their machine and became half ghost. Now the whole world knows that he's Danny Phantom, teenage superhero, king of ghosts.....
But one day, he just disappears...
The final bell to go home had run, Sam was on her way to her locker, but today had been a really weird day for her. Her classmates were all talking about the recent ghost attacks and how Danny would have been able to prevent the casualties and excessive damage had he been around. She really didn't care about stuff like that anymore. The new, so called, "Ghost Task Force" (or GTF) was in charge of dealing with them now. Everything was fine when Danny was around, but they showed up two days after he disappeared. Which to her and Tucker, this was NOT a coincidence. Everyone was busy preparing for prom, which Sam and Tucker wanted no part of. Then Valerie walked up to Sam.
"Hey Sam, quick question for you," she spoke in an urgent tone.
"Yeah, Valerie, what'cha need?" Sam asked as she slammed her locker shut.
"Did you know the new ghost king?"
"There's a new ghost king?"
"Yeah, it's odd. I was talking with one of the GTF guys that is stationed here in Amity, and he said that there is a new ghost king, which is odd because Danny should be the ghost king, right?" Valerie replied, half confusing herself.
"Okay, that is very odd," Sam said, understanding where Valerie was going but confused at the same time. They walked out the school building together and into the yard. "But it could just be someone claiming to be the king. Danny may have disappeared, but he's still the king of ghosts. He defeated that bloody tyrant, and he also has the crown of fire and the whatchamacallit ring."
"True-" *BOOM* An explosion happened down the street. Then a ghost shot by them.
"I've gotta go handle that," Valerie stated, unenthusiastically.
"See you next week."
"Oh, yeah. I forgot today is friday. Hope my dad doesn't kill me for being late getting home. In any case, see ya!" Valerie said as she ran after the ghost. Behind her, Sam gets run over by a speeding car.

Sam woke up in a very strange place. She wasn't sure how she got there. The last thing she remembered was her conversation with Valerie right before she got hit by something and blacked out. The area reminded of the ghost zone entrance.
Barren lands, no plants, floating islands,..... Wait, FLOATING ISLANDS???! I AM in the ghost zone!
"You need to look in a mirror sweetheart," said a voice behind her. Sam turned around. The person that now stood in front of her had on a pink & baby blue dress, stockings, gloves, and high heels. Her skin was white, and her hair was pink & baby blue and was poofy like cotton candy. "I'm Sarah, it's nice to see a new face every once in a while."
Sam gave her a confused look. "What do you mean new face?"
