durk was dropping his album at 5pm and many fans and supporters were waiting for this album for the longest time.
durk was excited because he knew that his fans was gonna like this one, well he hoped. durk and nique were on the couch waiting for the drop.
few hours later, the album had dropped and durk checked his instagram and people were dm'ing him talking about how the album was fire and people reposting the picture of his album cover on their instagram stories.
they was sitting on the couch and durks manager called him telling him that the track hit millions already and that it was going crazy.
nique looked at durk having a smile on his face knowing that it was only up from there. durks album was #5 on the charts so far at the time.
they looked at the listens and the charts "i can't believe this shit" niques eyes opened with amazement. "you really going up" she smiled.
"this only the beginning" durk nodded his head. nique paused with a worried look on her face, "what about the attention?" she asked. "i mean the more famous you get, the more people gon be watching us, that could be a problem." she added.
"we'll deal with it, ive been dealing with it. and besides, i got you by my side so we can handle anything that comes our way" durk shrugged.
nique smiled feeling comforted by durk but deep down she knew the road ahead would be filled with challenges they couldn't even imagine.
"so what's your favorite track so far?" nique turned to durk with a playful smile. durk chuckled shaking his head in disbelief "man ion know, they all my faves."
"i know, i know, but you gotta have a favorite." nique laughed leaning her head back against the couch. durk thought for a moment before nodding. "expedite this letter, i fw that one".
"mm i could see why, it's a calm ass song." nique nodded grinning from ear to ear.
"nique, you know i couldn't have done this without you" durk looked over to her as his eyes softened. "awwe, ima always be here for you, no matter what" nique smiled looking durk into his eyes.
