Nique sat anxiously on the examination table, the scent of the doctors office doing little to calm her nerves. She fiddled with her phone, glancing at the door every few seconds

Waiting for the doctor to come in with her test results. After what felt like eternity, the door finally opened, and Dr. Ramirez walked in, a reassuring smile on her face.

"Hello, Nique," she said warmly. "How are you feeling today?"

Nique let out a sigh she didn't realize she was holding. "Nervous, honestly. I just want to know what's going on foreal."

Dr Ramirez nodded, understanding. She took a seat and opened Nique's file. "Well, I've gone over your tests, and I have some good news. You're not pregnant."

Nique felt a mixture of relief and confusion. "Then why have I been feeling so off? The nausea, the mood swings, the fatigue.."

Dr. Ramirez looked at her kindly. "It appears that all your symptoms are related to stress. Your body is reacting to the immense pressure and anxiety you've been under. It's not uncommon for stress to manifest physically in these ways."

Niques shoulders slumped. She had suspected as much, but hearing it confirmed was both a relief and a burden. "So, what do i do?"

"We need to focus on stress management," Dr. Ramirez explained. "You need to take a step back from whatever is causing you the most stresss and find ways to relax."

"I'll also prescribe some medication that can help, but ultimately, you need to make some lifestyle changes"

Nique nodded, taking in the doctors words. "Thank you, I'll try my best."

Dr. Ramirez smiled again. "You're welcome, Nique. Remember, your health comes first. Take care of yourself."

Nique left the doctors office feeling a bit lighter but with a lot to think about. She knew she had to make some changes and soon. As she drove home, she resolved to talk to Durk about everything.

She needed his support more than ever.
