4/26 9:58am - on set.

You let your head droop slightly and your eyes flutter shut. You and Riki are sitting on the dining room chairs in Leo's house, hiding from the rain with the rest of the cast and crew. Felice had been drying your hair but she took a break, causing you to shut your eyes. Riki beside you is humming and tapping away at his phone, hair wrapped in a towel just so he doesn't get sick. He glances at you, a stray hair falling across his forehead and into his lashes. You open your eyes and shiver, scowling at him. "What?"

"Nothing." He continues tapping at his phone. A moment later, he shifts closer to you, tucking his phone into his pant pocket and wrapping his arms around your side. You sigh at the feeling of his body heat but continue to shiver slightly.

"Why are you always so cold?" He goes to lean his head against your shoulder before pulling away with his face drawn in a weird expression, "Ew, your shirt is wet."

"No shit." You say. "And I dunno-" You shiver again. "Why I'm always so cold."

Riki laughs at you, his breath fanning across your throat. You swallow at the feeling and suddenly become overly conscious of his fingers tapping at your waist and toying with your damp tshirt. He raises one hand and lets his towel come undone, laying it down on the seat beside him. Seeing that his hair is mostly dry you do the same, but your hair is still slightly saturated. You sigh. Riki laughs, nudging his face into the side of your neck. You feel your heart sparkle a little bit. "Don't."

"Don't what?" He rests on your shoulder.

"Just...don't act like that. I understand that you're trying to keep me warm and I appreciate that but you'll send me the wrong signals if you keep up with anything else."

Riki runs his hand up and down one of your arms gently.

"That counts as anything else."

Riki sighs. "Fine. Asshole."

"Shut your mouth."

He rolls his eyes. "Augh."

You don't realize that the two of you have fallen asleep on each other, arms entangled, until you blink your eyes open to see Mateo taking photos. He jumps slightly at the realization that you're watching him and tucks his phone in his pocket. "Director Lee says that you two have got to get up and hurry up so we can shoot the next scene while your hair's still a little wet and that you can rest afterwards." He cracks a smile. You smile back groggily before pushing Riki's head. "You're heavy, move!"

He whines and grasps your wrist, pushing it away with a frown. "Whatever, come on."

———

Leo stands behind Tara, drying her hair with a towel as she arranges items on the kitchen island. She tears open a packet of cookies that they grabbed impulsively and feeds one to Leo over her shoulder. "Just leave my hair, it'll air dry." She says through a bite of cookie.

"Mhm." Leo drapes the damp towel over one of the barstools and runs a hand through his hair.

"Can you pull up a recipe?" Tara hums as she scans the whipped cream box.

"I don't use recipes." Leo shrugs. Tara makes a face, causing him to playfully bump her shoulder. "Don't worry about it. Remember those brownies I made you for your birthday? No recipe! I'm a genius so everything turns out good." He grins.

"Sure, genius." Tara opens a cabinet by the ground and shuffles the clattering pots and pans before pulling out a big stainless steel bowl. She considers it. "Works." She smiles. Leo giggled. "Works." He repeats. Tara bites her bottom lip. "Alright, let's get to work."

You and Riki spend the rest of the afternoon and sometime into the evening shooting short scenes of the two of you hanging out and baking, a lot of character building rather than plot building. Once you're done and receive your promised long break, you and Riki collapse against one wall, leaning on each other. You may dislike each other, but you must admit that you're becoming more comfortable with each other. He's comfortable. He's warm. He's-

"You're kinda heavy."

He's annoying.

"Shut up, you're heavier. And I'm not even on your shoulder, you're on my shoulder."

"You're on my head!"

"But my shoulder!"

Felice interrupts, "Hey! You two! Not right now. Just cuddle and get some rest." She hmphs and continues with her manager business, rattling off some kind of mini speech to the director. Oh, wait, they're having a conversation. You smile slightly to yourself. Felice talks a lot sometimes, especially when it's about her job. You truly adore her for that.

"Felice?" You call. You shake your head a little when you feel a sneeze coming on but fail to dispel it and sneeze quietly.

"Eww." Riki mumbles. You shush him, waiting for Felice to react. She turns her head in your direction, smiling slightly. You smile back. "When can we leave?"

"Soon, don't worry. Director Lee and I were just talking about it!"

You let out a soft sigh of relief and shiver slightly. You feel Riki slip his hand around your stomach in a gentle hug.

4/26 2:42pm - in your hotel room.

"We have to be back on set in by 8:30." Felice says as she shuts the door behind herself. "But we can rest for now."

You kick of your shoes and jog slightly to take a happy leap into the fluffy hotel duvet and pillows. You smile into the cloud-like softness and turn your head to the side so you can breath. "Plenty of time to take a nap." You decide. You shift around when you feel your phone buzz, rolling slightly onto your side so that you can free it from underneath yourself. You squint at the screen as a notification pops up. You get distracted momentarily before you can even read the text. Your phone background is a photo of you and Felice. She's truly become a best friend and mother figure to you in the years you've been together. Your parents never supported your goals so you did your best on your own until Felice came and took you under her wing. Now look at you- starring in your very own movie.

You let your gaze flicker towards the text message and you click on it. When you unlock your phone it opens up the chat. You smile at the image you find then frown at the message itself.
