When I woke up, something was sitting on my back. I could hear three sets of footsteps around me, there were four I think, and one of them was sitting on me.

Well, this is a problem. Qudropeds have a consistent rhythm of a four-beat gait, but the footsteps have a two-beat gait. The creatures around me are probably bipeds. They didn't sound heavy, and each step was short. They're either human children or something else.

The one sitting on me banging a stick on my osteoderms. I listened to their irritating screeching speech. They didn't leave even after thirty minutes, and I've had enough of this.

[Bio-mass: 271.5]

I knock the creature off my back while the osteoderms recede. I now see their distinct green skin, pointed ears, and yellow eyes.

Goblin! Disgusting goblins! There were a least a dozen of them. The ones I could hear were nearby, while the others were standing still. I miscounted but that won't stop me.

The goblins have formed a defensive formation, with their leader being the one previously on my back. The ones at the front are armed with simple flint spears and hide shields.

The goblins and I circle each other as they screech and try to intimidate me with their spears. I curl back my lips and let out a growl with a high-pitched, hissing undertone. My chromatophores then come to life, displaying a dazzling array of colors and textures that cycle through every possible combination.

Three of them involuntarily stepped back but quickly returned, We stared at each other waiting for an opening when of them got brave and lunged with its spear.

I quickly dodged and grabbed the shaft with my claw, biting down on its neck and crushing it. Next, I rushed the formation.

They tried to impale me, but I moved through the hole in their shield formation I killed two of them with my blade-tipped tail; they were the same ones I had seen beside the first goblin.

I focused on the goblins that looked the most dangerous. I felt a spear impact my back but bounced off my graphene-reinforced osteoderms, I turned to the thrower and lunged, killing it.

Four down ten to go, They tried to dogpile me its muda, I knocked them off. I slashed one with my claws and killed another with a bite.

Eight, I spotted two unarmed goblins trying to run. I chased them down and jumped on them, both my talons stabbing their hearts.

Six.

I heard footsteps behind me, and I quickly leaped out of the path of a spear aimed at my knee. I turned to the offender and saw the goblin pulling a dagger. It let out a warcry and ran. I Swang my claw, it parried my swing and slashed me in the belly, normally this would kill any other animal but it barely pierced my dermis.

I let out a hyena-like laugh before I bit into its chest, injecting my venom. Five, of the remaining goblins are the leader, and four others.

I charged, moving faster than a falcon, and crashed into three goblins, crashing them. While on the ground I felt a sudden pain in my eye as I fell to the ground writhing in agony. I pulled the spear from my eye dazed by the shock. I saw the last two goblins running away with my good eye.

I screeched in frustration preparing to give chase but paused. I have their scent, I can track them back to their lair.

Upon realizing this my lips curled into a devious grin.

[Spend 30 gm? Y/N]

Yes, I turned and began to feast on the goblin. These goblins don't taste as good as the Florantles, but biomass is biomass.
