Personality: Known as a Hylian of action who never wants to adjust to proper etiquette, Katan is wild and fearless as he is often satisfied with an extremely violent and good brawl in battle. He's very confident in his abilities and comes off as arrogant to others because of this specific trait. But also tends to neglect most of his duties and come off as lazy as well.

Abilities: Incredibly light on his feet, Skilled warrior, Amazing stamina and resiliency, Can summon dark flames to aid him in battle or even weaponize the flames, Has the power to go into a blood rage state.

Backstory: Born as the youngest son of King Ragu and Queen Ireth who rule over a tribe of hylians who live in the wilds of Hyrule known as the Migu Tribe after their ancestors did not wish to live under the rule of the royal family, Katan was the more headstrong and somewhat light-hearted in nature son in comparison to his more mature and serious natured older brother Karro. Because of this, many of his people have favored his brother over him in becoming the new king of the tribe when the time comes. But Katan could never really care much about all of that. In fact, he never cared much about the title of king to begin with. He was more focused on exploring the world outside of his tribe and encountering powerful opponents to face in order to prove himself as the most powerful warrior in all of the land. As the years continued to pass, Katan began to learn of the stories of Calamity Ganon and the chosen hero. But little did he know of the story in which fate would have planned for himself. While exploring the wilds of Hyrule, he came across a rather large and grim looking cave and discovered within it ancient cave paintings depicting of a Hylian surrounded by what appeared to be dark colored fire. Curious, he ventured further within the cave and came across a mystic altar. Upon approaching the altar, he was suddenly lifted into the air and immobilized as the light from the altar began to shine and dark colored flames began to float towards him. Upon making contact with his body, Katan began to see memories from long ago before his time and always saw the face of one standing before him and ready to face him in combat. The Champion known as Link. As the memories finished, he was gently placed onto the ground and opened his eyes to see flames bursting from his hands. He doesn't fully understand this power or why he saw memories of Link in the first place, but he has begun to devote most of his time to truly understanding why.

Extra facts: He has the ability to understand animals of all sorts, was trained in the art of combat by his older brother and taught how to heal wounds on his own by his mother, his father would teach him the ways of what a king should be prepared to encounter should the need arise where he is to become king.
