Lisa's POV

"Taste this come on" I said to my two friends who are watching me in misery

"I don't know Lis. It looks very, uhm how do I say this "

"Just tell her it looks terrible Chu"

"I was gonna say displeasing!"

"That was just basically the same!"

They keep on arguing so I just shoved the food I cooked in their mouths then they swallowed it without even chewing

"If I die of food poisoning, you know who to sue" it was Seulgi

I looked at Chu hoping that she'll say something nice

"Lis, its not bad" she said, my eyes sparkled, there's hope for me after all

Well that was until she spoke again

"Its super bad" I sigh in defeat. What kind of sorcery is cooking anyway?

"Why are you even practicing? Its so not you" Seulgi asked

"Jennie and I have a date tomorrow"

"And so? You could just order food, moron"

"Thanks for the very bright idea Chu that I have already thought of" she rolled her eyes on me

"Look, I just want us to cook together. And I'm thinking maybe I'll have some sort of handicap, so that we could actually cook TOGETHER and not just her doing all the work" I reasoned out

"Awwww how thoughtful of you Manoban. But I'm pretty sure Jennie already took into consideration that you suck in cooking" its Jisoo

"And if I were Jennie, I would just want you out of my kitchen. So don't worry too much dude" now its Seulgi

"Okay get out. I'm still gonna think about what I'm gonna wear tomorrow so get out!" I blurted

"You don't want our help?"

"Dude I have the most fashion sense among us three" I smirked at them cooly then they suddenly threw things at me

"Cocky bastard. We're going!"

"Good luck with your date! And take it slow Manoban!"

I shook my head while their figures are disappearing on the door. Yup, I made the right friends

Jennie's POV

Its our date day. Our very first date together since she said her feelings to me. This is not even my first time going out on a date but I'm hella nervous. I prepared my outfits last night, made sure I slept on time and now I've woken up early. Its like I prepared more for this than my exams

Lisa said she's gonna pick me up at 5 in the morning. Early right? I don't even know what she's planning but she just told me to wear something I'm comfortable with. I settled with simple clothes because its really early and I doubt we'll do much. But she also literally said that I should rest plenty because we're really gonna make use of the whole day today

My parents already know that we're going out today. Lisa was really true to her words when she said she's gonna court me the proper way. She asked for my parent's permission and they were more than willing that if they could just pack my things right there and then, they would and send me to be with Lisa

So I got out of my room and hurriedly went to the door. Lisa just texted me that she's already outside. My eyes immediately landed on the tall figure leaning on her car. When her eyes met mine, my heart fluttered as she showed her bright smile that definitely reached her ear
