DAPHNE'S POV. I shot up from my bed once I saw the text Mason sent me
I'll be there in five :)
Five? I haven't even got up I still have my eye masks on while west coast by Lana del Ray bounced off my walls, my attempt to drown out my arguing parents' voices.
"shit." I got up quickly going straight for the closest pulling something casual together because we are just baking. i put on a cute pink top on it fit me perfectly, my favorite jean shorts grey leggings under and basic white socks.
Once I changed I peeled my under-eye masks off and quickly pulled out my makeup bag and began doing my makeup. As I finished with a thick vanilla lipgloss I checked the time it had been 6 minutes "liar" I mumbled. Then put my hair up into a bun

My eyes widened and I quickly put my low rise converse with pink laces on.
"Mom! I'm going to my friend's house."
she didn't answer me but continued to yell at my stepdad. I sighed and continued to walk out of the house not forgetting to pat my sister's head.
"Hi" I smiled up at Mason "Hey," Mason smiled widely and we stood there awkwardly for a second and he patted the back of his bike. "Hope on," he said with a happy tone.
Mason was pretending he didn't hear my mom's loud voice cussing. It was obvious the way he so awkwardly tried to speak over her booming voice as we biked out of my neighborhood my mom's voice was heard 3houses down but then disappeared after the fourth.
I sighed as my grip on his waist loosened a bit "We don't have to talk about it." Mason said looking back a bit "I understand." He smiled.
