It worked out great; we took a walk on a natural trail. For people who just met each other, we had good banter and giggles. We watched movies while we ate the cinnamon buns we baked; we never really understood what was going on because we were talking so much. Mason is honestly a cool and sweet guy. I never got bored talking to him; we could talk for hours but also sit in comfortable silence for hours too. We ended up falling asleep after playfully debating which movie was better.
I woke up after a while because my shoulder began to feel sore. I looked down only to see a sleeping Mason on my shoulder, so I woke him up, and we decided to walk to my house. We goofed around and took some pictures and talked some more.
"Mason, stop agh," she struggled, slapping his butt and kicking. "Put me dowwwn."

Mason hugged Daphne a goodbye and watched her walk inside, making sure she was safe. My phone exploded with notifications, and one in particular caught my attention.
