Kawaki's POV

"How can you refuse Shinki just for the sake of that girl?" his body shivers and his voice truly annoys me. I got his collar and pushed him into the filthy wall of an isolated and old stock room of the amusement park.

"That idiot is not worthy of my precious attention and trust and what I hate most is being ordered by idiots like you or your brother," I pushed him harder into the wall. He cries silently and I immediately cover his mouth not to create unnecessary sounds that would rise suspicions from the school authorities.

"Get off me," he struggles and he is catching his breath seems like I have slowly stopped his breathing due to the force I have exerted on his neck.

"I'll free you after you spill the tea," he looks frightened and seems like he doesn't want to say a word but I'm not letting him go without telling me anything.

"Now, tell me his plans if you don't like getting black circles around your eyes," I don't care about the consequences if he keeps resisting I'll just punch this idiot if he remains silent. He does not say a word but his body never stops shaking.

"Speak up!" I scream in his face and his eyeballs show a dreadful look like he has seen a ghost.

***********************************************************************************

Leaning on my desk watching the leaves dance from the window, I hear indistinct yet annoying chatter of people around the room. I often got to the school an hour before the first class starts. Most of the idiots here call me the 'early bird' and it sucks.

"Kawaki, have you heard about the Annual Sports and Cultural Festival?" I know that annoying voice without even seeing who is talking to me, I know who exactly the person is.

I sigh before facing her. She's the ex-student council president's sister that Hana. She has never left me alone since the first day of class and it's almost midterm exams now she is my laboratory partner so I don't have a choice but deal with her every day.

"Yes, what about it?" I ask and she smiles at me. She settles in front of me perhaps wanting to ruin my day again with her blathering mouth.

"It's our first time to experience such a popular annual event of this university and the first time Nana's not facilitating," is what I have expected from her. She sympathized with her and could not see how her sister worked with the event and how she was working with a moronic cousin.

I wonder if this girl is somehow involved with her sister's stupidity knowing she sent her the forgotten copies of CCTV footage of the university so they could cover that idiot Shinki's wickedness against innocent students.

"Kawaki, as the department's President, what can you say about it?" she gives me an annoying look. She gives her sweetest smile I believe however, it does not add to her charm, it's my personal opinion of her. Some people might find her perhaps charming.

"Huh?" I give her a puzzled expression. I, given my personality, don't like such activities. And why would they vote for me for the President of this department remains a mystery to me. I don't think I am suitable for the position but they are dumb enough to consider their idiocy the better judgment. The department only has twenty students considering their standard in medical courses.

"I want our department to join the festival," she declares in front of me. "You guys are willing to join, right?" she wants everyone to agree with her and she succeeds. Like what are we going to do there? Do laboratory activities? Sound stupid.
