Mason silently worked in his office, like every other boring day. He sighed. He just had to deal with the last file and then he could finally go home.

"BOO"

"AH WHAT THE FUCK?!" screamed Mason and jumped. He quickly turned around only to see his coworker laugh his ass off. "Oh my gosh Jackson, please stop startling me", begged Mason. "Nope, it's too funny for that", his coworker, Jackson, said. Mason sighed again and placed his left hand were his heart was. Someday this Fucker would give him a heart attack, he thought, still a bit startled.

Jackson had short brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. His lips were full and he had a sunkissed skin. He also was shorter than Mason which he found wonderful, then he could and would tease him about it a lot

He and Jackson became something like friends over the few weeks that Jackson was at his workplace. Jackson saw Mason, started talking to him and just wouldn't leave him the fuck alone. And now he claimed that they were friends. "Might as well call it that. He would be my one and only friend I have and probably ever will have anyways", thought Mason bitterly. "Hey, lets go and eat something together this weekend!" said Jackson all of the sudden. "Huh, why?", asked the black haired male dumbfounded. "Why? Because it's fun you dummy! We are friends too, you know? Friends do things like that!", replied Jackson. He explained the part with the friends like I am a child, thought Mason grouchily. "OK." said Mason simply. Jackson cheered happily. "Oh I have to go now, work is calling! Bye Masy!", said Jackson and waved goodbye while running off to god knows where. "Don't call me that", murmured Mason grumpily.

"Ah, finally. I can go home now!" said Mason relieved a few hours later. He packed his things and decided that he has to go to the bathroom before he leaves his work.

He washed his hands after was done and looked at himself in the mirror. He had dyed black hair wich started to get white at his hairline. "I really need to dye it again", he thought.

The black haired male had a relative thin figure, probably because he sits at his workplace for hours and he's not better at home. Mason looks himself in the eyes. His eyes, oh how he hated them. He had two different colored eyes. His left eye was dark green while his right eye would be light blue if he wouldn't wear contact lenses. He shook his head to come back to reality and started walking home.

When he was home, he was greeted by his cat cloud. She was a Persian cat and had soft and long white fur and unique blue eyes. Her eyes looked like the sky and her fur was like a cloud, because of that he creatively named her just that. "Hello, little girl. Are you hungry? I'm gonna get your food real quick. One second." he started shuffling around in his drawers, but to his surprise he couldn't find any cat food. Then Mason remembered that he used the last pack this morning. He silently cursed and then said to cloud with an apologizing look on his face: "I'm going to get new food for you, cloud. You have to wait just a little longer and then we can have dinner together, ok?" Cloud meowed and then laid down on her blanket. The black haired male smiled sweetly and went to the store to get his beloved cat some food.

Mason went in the store and tried to avoid every human he saw. He wasn't the most social guy and he just wanted to go home to his favorite person, Cloud. He smiled at the thought of her. She was there when he had no one and together they went through the biggest lows in his life. He knew he wouldn't bear it if she died. He shook his head. He didn't want to think of that.

After Mason was done collecting all the things he needed, he went to the cash register and paid for the cat food.

Mason took a deep breath after he left the store. „Finally done", he thought happily. Then he noticed that it was starting to get dark outside. He sighed and tried to figure out which way he should go. He could go the normal way and then had to walk for 15 minutes or he could take the shortcut through the scary, dark alley and then just had to walk for 4 minutes. He thought of cloud and how she was the only company he had. He wanted to be a good friend to at least to one person! So he decided to take the shortcut even when it was super terrifying and he gets scared really easily. "Well, maybe that isn't a good idea at all, but there is no turning back now!", he quietly said to himself. Mason took a deep breath and went into the alley. Nothing special happed, there wasn't any one or anything. It was just-... quiet. "In the end I didn't have to be afraid!" he thought relieved as he took the last turn.

He thought that to early.

He saw a man standing over another person. The standing person hold a gun in their hand and pointed it at the on the ground lying person. Mason gasped and then mentally slapped himself. Hard. Why did he gasp?! That's the stupidest thing he could have done in this situation. Of course the male with the gun turned around and mason was shocked to see the face of-  "Jackson?!" Jackson looked at him for a few seconds before he said: "Look away." Mason was scared so he did what he was asked. Jackson still held a fucking gun in his hand! He heard a gunshot and squished his eyes tight together. He was sure he would be next. He waited and waited but there wasn't another gunshot. He also was shocked by the fact that he was still alive. He slowly opened his naturally multi - colored eyes only to see Jackson coming in his direction. Mason looked slighly behind Jackson, which probably wasn't a good idea, because he saw a corpse with a bullet in their head.

He puked into the nearest bin.

What the hell was happening? He just wanted to buy some food for cloud! Mason was so confused and couldn't think straight. Everything just didn't make any sense! Jackson's always so happy and cheery, and it looked like he couldn't hurt even a small fly! And now he killed a fucking person?! That didn't add up.

Suddenly there were new voices from people who probably heard the gunshot and wondered what was going on.

"Looks like we are getting some visitors! Lets go!" yelled Jackson. Mason was stunned, so the other male grabbed his hand impatiently and started running. "Jackson? What the actual fuck is happening right now?! Where the hell are we going? And- did you just shoot a fucking person?!", yelled the green eyed male as he was dragged across various streets. "I will explain shortly- wait scratch that! Maybe I shouldn't be explaining at all!", screamed Jackson back. Mason wasn't happy at all and just wanted start complaining that he wanted a fucking explanation and that now, but his attempt was cut short as he was pushed in a car. He grunted as he landed not really comfortable. Jackson jumped in the car right after him and screamed: "GO!" The car immediately started and they were pushed back in their seats by the force. They speeded through the streets and Mason was really impressed by the fact that they simply just didn't crashed something. But after a few seconds he realized something.

"Was I just fucking kidnapped?! And by Jackson too?! This has to be a fucking joke!" Thoughts like this and more entered his mind at an unhealthy speed. Mason waited for the moment someone would jump out of nowhere and tell him that this was all just a joke for a TV show or something. Nothing happened. Now he was panicking even more. He grabbed his hair and pulled at it to snap out of this nightmare as his breath sped up even more. "Mason, is everything ok? Hey, listen to my voice okay? Everything is going to be fine, I promise..." Jackson said softly and moved to touch Mason, but he screamed: "DON'T TOUCH ME!" Jackson flinched and pulled his hand back, but still tried to calm him down. "I'm going to touch you ok? Don't worry everything is going to ok" He tried to touch Mason again, but he gave the same reaction as before and even slapped his hand away. He wouldn't be touched by this- this murderer! Mason panted heavily as everything was just too much. He breath sped up impossibly further as black dots started to appear in his vision and he didn't calm down a bit. He tried to focus on the city outside of the car to calm himself down, because panic didn't help anybody here right now, but they drove so fast that he couldn't mark out anything. The dots started to slowly take over his whole vision until he couldn't think anything anymore. The last thing he could hear was a soothing, but panicked voice calling out his name.

Mason passed out.
