Dear Mom

The first day of spring,
And little five year old me.
With very few teeth,
And silly beliefs.

The first light of day,
And you wake up without dismay,
Your kind eyes and beautiful smile potray
That the love you have for me will never go astray.

My boiling anger, your calming face;
Your tiring eyes, my shameful disgrace.
Through it all, you have guided me,
Journeyed Through this endless sea Known as the world.
With your kindness I have learned,
That the love you have for me, is the most powerful in the world.

Dear Mom,
Thank you for all that you have gone through
For me, something only known by few.
I believe an apology is due-
For all the pain and sacrifice you pursued,
For me- a neverending gratitude is due,
For all the luxuries from which you withdrew,
Stuck with me like a glue,
No one makes me as happy as you.
Your truly,
Your son.

Like I said, this one's in honor of Mother's Day, and I'm dedicating it to my mom. Love you mom, you have and (thankfully) will always be my guiding light, my guardian angel, the person who gets me, who listens to me rant about my stupid teachers and love for taylor swift, who has, since day one, been there for me, and watched me grow. You're my favorite person and always will be.
Your truly,
Your son.
