Y/N's PoV

The sound of a door opening filled the room, some steps coming from it and drawing near towards the bed i rested in. Once the steps grew loud enough they suddenly stopped and a figure stood right besides my bed, leaning down to whisper as she used to do

???: "Wake up already sleepyhead..."

...

There was no response to the calling, so thinking that it might just need of another try to get what she wanted, the girl tried once again

???: "Wake up...you'll be late" This time her voice was slightly louder, trying to wake me up in the quietest way possible almost as if she wasn't trying

But once again to her surprise, no response came out. With a sigh she began walking towards one side of the room, gripping what i could tell was some sort of cloth for the sound she made when grabbing it

???: "Then i'll flashbang this room and force you up-"

Y/N: "WAIT WAIT I'M AWAKE!" I almost jumped out of the bed to stop her, lifting my upper body up and extending my hands out in a stop manner

???: "Good morning" Greeted in the most neutral way possible the girl in a maid's outfit, helping herself up thanks to a chair and turning to look at me with her crimson-red eyes

Y/N: "G-good morning..."

Maid: "I prepared breakfast, change and come quick before it gets cold" With that, she walked out of the room and closed the door behind her, not bothering to do anything else

Y/N: "Right on..." I stretched my arms up to get the sleepiness off me, then got out of the bed and walked towards a drawer to get my change of clothes for the day

That girl was Shizuka, a maid that offered herself to look after me ever since my parents died in a strange incident, and while she doesn't show any emotion she's been taking responsibility of me all this time regardless of what happened

Y/N: Even if i'm already a grown up, she doesn't need to continue doing this...

I tell that to myself every time, but it might just get lonely without her around too. After i got ready and placed on a bracelet on my wrist, i walked out of the room and headed downstairs to eat my breakfast, catching up to where Shizuka was reading a newspaper at

Shizuka: "I prepared something for lunch break too, don't forget your backpack" Said almost instantly the maid induced in her reading, flipping the page without bothering to look at me

Y/N: "Thanks Shizuka, you don't have to do all this though..."

Shizuka: "Hmm? It's my job, of course i gotta do this" She answered back with a neutral attitude

I appreciated her being this way, i'm pretty sure she knew she didn't need to do anything for me, but she still doesn't give it a rest...

Shizuka: "By the way" Suddenly said Shizuka as i started digging into my breakfast

Y/N: "Yeah?"

Shizuka: "I read that there have been some murders happening at night, so come back before the clock hits six in the noon" Almost demanding it of me, Shizuka lifted her sight to look at me and speak up
