I look up at my ceiling. My parents grounded me the other day so I can't go anywhere.
I feel buzz on my phone. "Hello?" "why haven't you been answering my texts?" my body tenses as I hear Ian's voice. "I'm grounded and besides we aren't together anymore. So fuck off." I state. "We are still together. I'm the only one in this world who actually gives a shit about you. No one else likes you like me." he states. "That's not true..." "Really where are your friends because they're not there, are they?" he asks.
"No."
"But I am. Let me in." I step out into the hall and see a shadow at the door. "Howd you get in here?" I ask as my voice shakes. "I have my ways now open the door before I break it down." I walk to the handle and open it.
I drop the phone as a hand grabs me by the throat and slams my body against the wall. "You think you can just walk away from me like that? I'm in charge here no more mouthing off and shit." "pl-please..." I beg.
"No you're gonna listen to me you stupid bitch! If you ever disobey me like that again or try to embarrass me I will fucking kill you," he says as he spits in my face. "Understand I don't want to hurt you. But I will because I love you." he says taking his hand away. My lip trembles and my eyes water. He wipes my eye. Making my skin crawl. He places his lips on mine. I fight the urge to vomit.
"I'll see you tomorrow sugar." I nod. He leaves the apartment.
I let out a choked sob as I touch my throat. I slide down the wall. I curl up into a ball and cry.
