Seto's P.O.V
I wake up the next morning and I imediately go down the stairs, Tayanne was still at her desk, she had been researching last night and she hadn't come up to bed, she had fallen asleep at her desk. ¨Tayanne, wake up sweetheart. We need to get ready¨ I say tickling her side, she slowly opens her eyes ¨oh morning Seto, why am I here?¨ she asks sitting up and streching her arms ¨you must have fallen asleep at your desk last night. You go and get ready and I'll make breakfast¨ I say kissing the top of her head and walking into the kitchen. I get the ingredients to make pancakes and I get to work. When I finish I call up the stairs for Tayanne ¨Tayanne, breakfast is ready¨ I call, she slowly comes down the stairs holding onto her arms ¨whats wrong babe?¨ I ask when she gets to the bottom of the stairs. She lifts the sleeves of her shirt to reveal several blood circles on each arm ¨powerless, weak, worthless, give up, death¨ she says quietly pointing to each one ¨Tayanne, your none of those things. Don't believe any of them, hes waiting for you to snap and use your powers to cause us all pain when your taken away¨ I say holding my arms out to give her a hug, she falls into my arms and burys her head in my shoulder. I can feel her sobbing ¨shhh Tayanne¨ I whisper strokeing her hair gently, her sobs quieten down and her breathing slows down. I pull away from our hug and smile ¨come on, lets go have breakfast. I made your favorite pancakes¨ I say pulling her into the kitchen. I push her into her chair and pass her a plate of pancakes ¨thanks Seto, you always cheer me up when I am sad¨ she says cutting her pancake. I smile as I watch her go all shy ¨its my pleasure to make you smile¨ I say getting up to wash my plate and the other dishes, I look back over at Tayanne, our eyes lock as we smile. ¨I am going to get dressed okay¨, ¨okay, are we heading out today?¨ she asks, I nod and smile before leaveing the room and running up the stairs. I open the wardrobe and look at mine and Tayanne's clothes, our colour schemes were almost the same, black, gray, purple. Its quite funny how alike we are, I pick some gray trousers, gray shirt and my purple cloak and hood. I attach the cloak pin that Jason and Tyler gave me, it glowed softly before returning to its natural silver. I walk over to the mirror and slip my white headband on, my brown hair flopping over it slightly. I grab my armour and slide into it, I walk back down the stairs and into the kitchen. Tayanne was stood at the sink with a glass of water in her hand, her skin was pale and her new red eyes stood out. She was shakeing so much, she seemed to be spaceing out ¨Tayanne? Tayanne snap out of it¨ I say clicking my fingers. Her eyes foucused, her pupils widened before she dropped the glass. Her hands flew up to her head and she closed her eyes, screaming in pain, the screaming sent chills down my spine. I drop down next to her and hold her in my arms ¨Tayanne shhh calm down, I am here¨ I say gently. After a minuet of my gentle words Tayanne calmed down, she kept her hands on her head and her breathing remained out of sync. I put my hand on her forehead before retracting it sharpish, ¨Tayanne you have a fever, your going to stay here and rest¨ I say picking her up and carrying her up the stairs ¨no Seto, I have to fight¨ she whispers, struggling in my arms for me to put her down. I kick the door open and I tuck her under the bed covers ¨you won't be able to fight today Tayanne. Stay here while I get you a potion¨ I say placeing a soft kiss on her burning forehead. I hurry down the stairs and get a potion, I rush back up the stairs. Tayanne was trying to stand but she was still shakeing so she couldn't balance herself. ¨Tayanne stay down, your just going to hurt yourself¨ I say pushing her back down, I uncork the potion vile and sit beside Tayanne ¨here drink this, its going to help¨ I explain tilting the bottle. Tayanne drinks the potion and lays back, she coughed slightly ¨Seto I feel so bad, I need to help¨ she says weakly. She's always been like this, always wanting to help without putting her needs before somebody else's. ¨babe, you need to stay. I'll be back before you know it¨ I say gently as I push away some strands of hair away from her eyes. A tear fell down her cheek quietly ¨please come back okay, don't get hurt¨ she cries, I muster a small smile ¨I am going to be fine, get some rest and I'll be back soon. Call me on your contact cube okay?¨ I say before pressing a kiss on her lips, after a few seconds I pull away. Wipeing away her tears ¨I have to go now, your going to be fine baby¨ I smile, she weakly smiles and holds her enderman toy close to her heart along with my other purple cloak and hood. She closes her eyes and falls asleep ¨goodnight Tayanne, I won't be long¨ I whisper, turning the lights off and tip toeing out. I grab my backpack from the sofa after clearing the broken glass away and walk out the door, locking it before teleporting to the sky palace. I had teleported just behind the group ¨okay lets head out if everyones here¨ I start, Jason turns around and jumps into Tyler's arms while everyone screams ¨what am I that scary looking¨ I say. ¨Seto can you not teleport behind us, your so quiet and wheres Tayanne?¨Adam asks ¨Tayanne isn't well, she is so weak today that she can't stand on her own¨ I explain slowly, ¨so she won't be coming to fight¨ I finish blinking away tears quickly. Ty's hand lands on my shoulder ¨shes going to be fine Seto, don't worry¨ he says giving me a small hug. I smile ¨thanks Ty¨ I whisper ¨lets get going¨ Adam says pointing to the forrest. Herobrine was the last boss we had to defeat, he would still be in the tree that hes been taking people to. I drag my feet as I lead the group, everyone could tell that I was not feeling the same as usual, Tayanne won't be able to fight and its all because of Szandor. I hadn't noticed that Tyler had jogged beside me ¨don't worry Seto, Tayannes fine. To prove it to yourself call her in a bit¨ he said gently, I weakly smile and nod.
