Chapter 4... preperation

Jerome's P.O.V

I can't believe that all my friends are hybrids, now they know about me being a hybrid I feel relived. I also have a big crush on Charlotte, she is beautiful her dark hazel eyes, her long dark brown hair with ocean blue tips that change to rainbow when she transforms. She is always laughing and she always makes me laugh, I need to talk to Mitch or Seto, probably both. Seto went back to his house with Tayanne, I think I am going to see Seto first maybe he can give me a spell or something that could help my confidence. I transform to my hybrid self because I run faster when I am my hybrid. I run to Seto's house, when I get to his door I change back to myself and I knock. I can hear giggling coming from inside, I knock again and the giggling stops, Seto came to the door, his hair was sticking up quite a lot like someone had been running their hands through it. "Hey Seto, sorry for interrupting your make out session with Tayanne, but I need to talk to you" Seto turned bright red and lead me inside to his study, "so Jerome what is up" Seto says hovering in the air, he pushes me a chair with magic, I sit down and I begin to speak "well I have a crush on Charlotte and I don't know how to tell her, I am not very confident, and I was wondering if you could help me some how, because you know your going out with Tayanne now" I say in a rush, Seto looked at me and said "I think I have a spell or potion that could help you". Seto clapped his hands together and a book came flying from a bookshelf behind me, Seto begins to speak to the book " where can I find a spell for confidence" the book flips through all its pages for a second and then it stops, Seto put his hand on the page and it began to glow purple, Seto lifted his hand from the page, the words following his hand "Jerome come here". I walked over to Seto and he put his hand on my shoulder, I could feel the words going through my skin, Seto kept his hand on my shoulder he put his head down and closed his eyes I could see them glowing, Seto started muttering something it sounded like another language, suddenly the glowing stopped and Seto's eyes stopped glowing. He looked at me and smiled " the confidence spell is inside you now Jerome you should feel better when your talking to Charlotte and you should be able to tell her", "thank you so much Seto, if you ever need anything just give me a call" I say smiling, Seto laughs at me "now if you don't mind I have some 'work' to do" I grin at Seto and laugh. He leads me to the front door, he was stood at the bottom of the stairs he grinned at me and used magic to pull Tayanne towards him, they started makeing out and Seto used his other hand with magic he shut the door and locked it behind me. I laugh to myself "Seto and his busy hands" I laugh again at my joke and I transform to my hybrid and I run towards Mitch's house. I turn back to myself and I knock there was no answer, I sense someone stood behind with a weapon, I turn around quickly to see Mitch in his hybrid self holding several bows around his body. He puts the bows down "sorry Jerome I thought you were someone else" he says embarrassed "hey Mitch don't worry about it, I need your help" I say. "Come inside then and we can talk over a bit of food and drank" Mitch says happily. He transformed back to his normal self, and lead me inside, we both sat down i started to explain about Seto's spell and my crush on Charlotte and that I need his advice about girls. "Well I can help you there Jerome" Mitch says laughing, after a few hours of 'ladies advice' from Mitch I formed a plan to ask Charlotte out on a date. As I went to leave Mitch grabbed my shoulder "remember what I told you", I nod my head and I transformed to my hybrid and I ran back to the sky army base, I carried Mitch on my back as I ran, he wanted to observe my skills, we stopped off at Seto's workshop to get a invisibility potion for Mitch, then I carried on running to the sky army base. I arrived outside Charlotte's door, Mitch drank the potion I knocked on the door and Charlotte came outside " oh hey Jerome, what's up" she asked me in her gentle voice, "Hey Charlotte, would you like to come for a walk with me I need to talk to you". We walked through the city gates and went into the little forest, I could feel Mitch poking me in the back so I knew he was there. Me and Charlotte sat down on a log bridge going over a little stream, "Charlotte, I love you" I say quietly wow this spell is working a bit "I love you too Jerome" Charlotte says as her eyes glaze over with tears, I put my hand on the side of her face and I lean in close to her, I kiss her lips softly, she closed her eyes and kissed me back, I could feel Mitch pushing me on top of her, Charlotte looked up at me and blushed deep crimson, I just looked at her and smiled. We stayed out for a while, watching the river flow and the birds sing, I wrapped my arm around Charlotte and cuddled her when all of a sudden purple swirls started to for around us, Mitch's potion wore off and the swirls surrounded him as well, Charlotte buried her head in my chest and closed her eyes. A few seconds later we appeared in the sky army base meeting room, again "I have a plan" Adam begins.
