Dreams Do Come True

Chapter 1

Elloura's POV

"What's up guys, it's Sam and Colby!" I heard from the TV in the living room.
"Hey! Wait for me!" I called at Lily from the kitchen.

I plop down next to her and hand her the large bowl of popcorn and set our drinks on the coffee table.
I went to reach for some popcorn and look down to see no bowl. I look over to the left of Lily and see the large bowl next to her and I sigh "Lilyyy" I say in a jokey whine.
She looks at me trying to suppress her laughter "Y-Yeah?" She says, starting to giggle.

We sit in silence for a minute just staring into each others eyes trying not to laugh which makes us pull funny faces and sends us into fits of laughter.

We start rolling around on the couch and I fell on the remote and turned the video back on "WHAT'S UP GUYS, ITS SAM AND COLBY!" Causing us to both jump at the sudden loud noise, we then look at each other and start to laugh again.
"Whoops" I say through my laughter "I guess-I leant on-on the remote!"

After 10 minutes of laughter we were getting stomach aches from laughing so much.
"Okay, okay" Lily said still laughing but trying to stop "Wait, we need to restart the video now..."
"Okay, okay" I replied still chuckling

A minute passed and we were almost collected but no, we looked at each other causing me to crack up again and Lily joined me "Why are you laughing now?"
"You looked at me funny"I replied slowly breathing to try and stop laughing "Why were you laughing?"I asked Lily
"Because you were!"she answered which was a fair point we always laugh when the other does.

We watch the video and slowly become more interested with the Crescent Hotel and its history
"Do you think we should go there?" I ask
"Yeah, maybe but we need to think about travel funds. I think it would be great though. " Lily said thinking ahead abpout the details, unlike I do, yet again.
"I think that if we start planning now, we can be gone by next week" Lily said as she checked our joint calendar, which comes in handy when we are planning things like this.
"Wait, how long would we be gone?"I asked, thinking about plans later in the week.
"Maybe2-3 days, we don't need to stay for too long."she said, stating her thought process aloud.
"We've are going to FREAKING AMERICA! Why are we rushing to leave? We aren't just going for 3 days, we are staying for a week!" I said, not wanting to waste money or our time.
"That's fine. What about your plans for the end of the week?"
"I can cancel. It's not like it is an important meeting or anything like that." I said with an excited chuckle.

We are going to the USA and we were only going to stay for 3 days in a haunted hotel as well, not a nice hotel. Well, okay, the Crescent Hotel is a nice hotel but it is also terrifying. I want to visit other places around and actually have a fun and memorable trip not just a 3 day work visit.
