Elloura's POV

Our flight is in 6 hours so we will leave in 2 hours to give us enough time to get through security and to our gate with no rush and we could also have enough time to get food. We have put our suitcases and carry-ones by the door as well as our shoe so that we have easy access to them, we are now packing our backpacks and like always, somehow Lily is rushed and thinks we will be late.

"Elloura, where are the laptops and chargers? They aren't in the office!"

"I think they are on the island in the kitchen!"

"Found them! Thanks"

"No problem. Have you seen my camera, or did we pack it yesterday?"

"It's on the coffee table with your phone and charger!"

"Ok, thanks."

It is so hectic when we travel, we lose things everywhere in our apartment, luckily, we always find them.

About 40 minutes later and 2 cups of coffee each (we both hate coffee but we needed the energy), we were ready to go and hadn't forgotten anything. We decided to take my car as it is bigger and would fit all of our bags and I had Bluetooth in my car, so we didn't need the aux cord to play music. We get down to the parking garage and chuck all of our bags in the car trying to be quiet as it is only 3 in the morning and the rest of the apartments were still sleeping apart from the one room, we passed on floor 2, I don't know what they were doing (well it was pretty easy to guess from the noises coming from it) nor did I want to find out, so we continued walking to my car.

We got in the car and buckled in, and I started driving with Lily dozing off in the passenger's seat. I wasn't that tired as I struggle to sleep anyway, and I normally get up around this time to go to the gym or go on a run if I feel like it, so I was used to being up this early whereas Lily never gets up this early she normally gets up around 6:30-7:00 ish, so she fell asleep pretty fast.

Once Lily woke up, she connected her phone to the Bluetooth and started playing 'Skin' by Colby Brock to wake us up a bit. We sang along to the song and jammed out to other song until we got to the airport. I parked my car and gave the key to the airport staff, that were going to look after my car while we are gone, we grabbed our bags and suitcases out of the car and walking inside to security. We got stopped a few times because of the amount of electronics in our carry-ons.

We got to our gate with 2 hours til our flight, so we went to get food as we hadn't eaten anything yet. We found a Starbucks, and both got more coffee, then we found a Greggs, and both got a sausage roll then went back to our gate. We sat and ate our sausage rolls and drank out coffees while listening to music and waiting to get called to get on the plane and find our seats.

About 1 hour and a half our flight got called so we went to go find our seats. We had a window seat and the seat next to it. "Which seat do you want to have?" I asked Lily as we found that it was 3 seats so one of us would have to sit next to a stranger.

"You can have the window I know what you are thinking and yes, I am fine with sitting next to a stranger it is better than you sitting there, hey?" Like I said, Lily always makes sure that everyone around her is comfortable and safe. She always puts others before herself.

"Thanks Lily" I said while giving her a hug and shuffled down our row to the window seat with Likely following me to the seat next to it, the middle seat of three. We were hoping that the stranger who sat there either didn't t talk to us or interact with us at all or said 'hey' and then minded their own business. Luckily the third seat was never taken, apparently the strangler who had that seat cancel his flight and changed the date, so we had 3 seats to ourselves for this 14-hour 43-minute flight, let the journey begin!
