Dreams Do Come True

Chapter 5

Elloura's POV

Let the investigations begin...

We arrive in the crystal dining room with our bag and three different persons, me, Lily and Edith. Whether the Girl from the window came with us, I don't know. We set our bag down on a table in the middle of the room and set down the camera to face us as we stood back next to each other.

"So, we are now in the crystal dining room, and this is where the 2 dancers are often caught on rem pods and cat balls but not words come through on the spirit box. There is also a man who, if I'm correct, sits in the far window over there." As Lily says this, I grab the camera and point it to the window seat that she is talking about then sit it back down.

"The main trigger event in here is dancing with ball like music which we know works from Sam and Colby's video here when they did just that and caught lots of things on the rem pod and cat balls. So, let's try that and Edith here will hopefully let me know if she sees anyone that we don't." I say glaring at her as she smiles brightly, but to the camera I am staring at thin air.

"I promise I will, and you know I don't break my promises." She holds her pinky out and I link mine with her's. I am still confused on how that works as it is one of the very little physical contact things that she can do, one of which is messing with objects, clothes and hair.

"Ok let's set up some cat balls around and a rem pod or 2 if we have a spare one." I saw as I think about how much space we could cover with different things and what we could use.

"Ok and yes we do have 2 rem pods with us." Lily replies getting the things out of the backpack.

We set up the cat balls in a circle that spirits would pass if they were dancing. Lily put on some ball music, and I started to -or at least tried to- dance to it with Edith. I was laughing at the fact that we weren't moving in sync as we weren't able to guide each other on how to dance since most physical contact wasn't possible. I started to dance with Lily as Edith was messing with a single cat ball on the table next to us that we left separate so that we know it's her, because she loves them. I kept asking her if she could see the dancers, the man sitting by the window or the girl that we saw in the window while we were outside. Though she kept on saying she couldn't see anyone, Lily and I kept getting the feeling like someone was with us just not wanting to show themselves yet- spirits can be scared when they realise that I can see and hear them and that Lily can sense them, so it takes them a little bit to come around and show themselves to us.

"Ok, so it has been about 10/15 minutes, and we still have gotten nothing apart from Edith setting off this cat ball on the table." Lily pointed the camera at the toy still going off. "We have seen/felt nothing else, and Edith hasn't seen anything."

"Actually, we have been feeling something, it is like someone is here but doesn't want to show themselves to us quite just yet-which is fine you can take your time, we won't hurt you." The last bit Lily said out loud to the rest of the room so that spirits would know she is addressing them.

After another 10 minutes with getting nothing, we decided to move on to the morgue. We packed up all of our equipment strewn around the room and grabbed the camera, turning it off until we get to the morgue or until something happens on our way there.

Eddie, Lily and I walked down to the morgue as Edith followed behind us, she had started to use more energy to shower herself more to Lily so she can't tell what activity is Edith and what are other entities. Lily is an empath and can sense when things are nearby and she can feel how spirits feel, she can also sense the energy a room has and the strength of it. I am a medium and I can see and speak to entities as well as sensing emotions and energy. When you put us together, we can never really miss anything unless it doesn't show itself to us.

We got down to the morgue and the door was being stubborn and wouldn't open, I turned on the camera, "We just got down to the morgue and the door isn't opening, is this normal?" I asked Eddie and faced the camera to him as he is trying to budge the door open.

"Not at all, this has never happened but I ave almost been lock in by this door before but never locked out of it."

"Wow, wait a minute, you got locked inside the morgue?" Lily questioned with shock plastered on her face.

"Almost, yeah." Eddie answered as I passed the camera to Lily to try and help Eddie open the door.

After 5 minutes for trying to open their door, it just flew open as I was running at it, to try and shove it open with my body weight, causing me to fall over and bust my ass on the floor, scrapping my knee in the process, "Welp, I guess they like me." I said laughing.

"Alright, but are you ok?" Lily interrogated as she put the camera down facing me to come and help me up.

"No yeah, I'm good, it just stings a tad." I answered truthfully as I looked down at my cut-up knee.

"Ok, if you say so. Do you at least have something in your bag to clean it?"

"I don't think I do Lily; we are going ghost investigating I wasn't expecting to bust my ass tonight was I?"

"I guess not, what do you think was stopping the door?"

"I don't know, where's Edith?" I asked her looking around for my dead friend.

"Boo" she said and laughed as I jumped and turned around to face her.

"Ha ha very funny, do you know what was stopping the door?" I asked her with my hand on my chest trying to calm down from the slight jump scare.

"Um, yeah." I looked at her and gave her the 'care to share' or 'continue' look. "It was a man I don't know who he was though."

"Ok, thanks. She said it was a man, but she doesn't know who he is." I said as I grabbed a water bottle to pour on my leg, "is it ok if I get the floor a bit wet?" I asked Eddie who nodded his head, "It's just water it can't do any harm." He reassured me as I poured it on my leg which caused it to sting and me to clench my teeth and suck in a breath.

"Ok, do we have anything I can wrap it with? I don't want it getting infected."

"I think we might have something in the bag here let me check." Lily was rushing slightly so as she reached to take the bag from me a grabbed her hand causing her to look at me, "I'm ok, just a little hurt, relax." She smiled at me and took a breath, taking the bag and rummaging through it. "You could use the shirt that the music box is wrapped in?"

"Yeah, that will work. Sorry about this Eddie." I said with a chuckle.

"It's fine, just glad that you can deal with it because that would be a lot of paperwork and questions." He said with a laugh.

"Yeah, imagine just, "ok and how did you cut your leg?" "A ghost held the door shut in the morgue and as I was taking a run at it to try and open it, the door flew open and bam I said hi to the floor." That would be so funny I don't know if anyone would believe me though."

"Really, because I got it on camera." Lily said as she handed me the shirt and I tore a thick band from the bottom of it then handed it back to her. "You don't need the whole thing?"

"No and I want the music box to be protected so could you wrap it up again, thanks." I said as she nodded, and I wrapped the band of fabric around my leg tying it securely. "That should hold for now, but I can deal with it more later when we get back to our room." I said as I stood back up while grabbing the camera and Lily zipped up the bag and handed it back to me. "Well, that was a first but hey, I'm ok so let's continue. I want to figure out who or what did that." I said excitedly as we finally entered the morgue.
